Good explanation sir, Now I am doing MBA your explanation about the topic is great. It was very easy to understand, and you are explained easy methods, I hope this will useful for all. Thank you☺️
sir you explained it so well i just did this sum as a practice before 5 hours of my exam and i solved this question in exam very confidently Thankyou Sir .❤
P13-16 Integrative-Leverage and risk Firm R has sales of 100,000 units at $2.00 per unit, variable operating costs of $1.70 per unit, and fixed operating costs of $6,000. Interest is $10,000 per year. Firm W has sales of 100,000 units at $2.50 per unit, variable operating costs of $1.00 per unit, and fixed operating costs of $62,500. Interest is $17,500 per year. Assume that both firms are in the 40% tax bracket. a. Compute the degree of operating, financial, and total leverage for firm R. b. Compute the degree of operating, financial, and total leverage for firm W. c. Compare the relative risks of the two firms. d. Discuss the principles of leverage that your answers illustrate. Solution?
Sir, I'm very impressed. I love the way u teach in simple & systematic way. Sir I want you to make vdos on amalgamation and liquidation. Thank you so much sir
Another alternate method to find the new EBIT would be the normal Method of getting EPS only you stop when you find EBIT. SO the new sales after adding 600000 that is 3000000 and reducing the variable cost whichis 50% OF SALES so ITS 1500000 then reducting the fixed cost that is 1000000 and your EBIT would be 500000.
Tysm sir for what you are doing for us since many of us are unable to cope up with our teacher. And your way of teaching is the best.Plzz never stop teaching us sir and I also never skip ads on your video because that's the least we can do😊😊😊
I take financial management and my lect give explaination about leverage too complex, but watching your video, it actually easy to solve. Thanks sir, even tho it already a year late 😂.
DOL WILL 0.5 Because if the company sales is 100,000 and increase 1% of its sales it will be 1,000 if the vairable cost is 50% it means the remaining 50% will be profit because the fixed cost does not impact so it means 500 will be cost and 500 will be profit so this company DOL will 0.5 Thank you teacher l have gained from you more information
I have Request sir plz teach us entrepreneurship because I am in 5 semester and there is no teacher who teach us better than you I can easily understand topics because of you. Plzzzz sir

Please solve this: Consider the following data of XYZ Ltd. Selling price per unit Rs.60, Variable cost per unit Rs.40, Fixed cost Rs.3,00,000, Interest burden Rs.1,00,000, Tax 50%, Preference Dividend Rs.50,000.Calculate the three types of leverages if the number of units sold is 10,000.
21:56 if the sale increasing by 6L and we know that VC is 50% then we can do it with the help of VC (variable cost) also, new contribution will be Sale - VC = contribution, then we can deduct FC (fixed cost) to get EBIT 24,00,000+6,00,000 - VC(50%) = we will get contribution (15,00,000) then deduct fixed cost : 15,00,000 - 10,00,000 (fc) = 500,000 (EBIT)

Nice teaching I have small doubt : In this vedio last calculation about EBIT u did using formulas buy if we using the income statement sales - vc : contribution - fc : EBIT this way also get the same answer can I go with that instead of using formulas
obviously you can... see, u can choose any way .... he is only teaching us about more and more depth.... but if you want to calculate percentage change, then his formula will become useful when there is 2 or 3 projects are given

22:44 we can also do this question with the help of variable cost since its mentioned its 50 % of sale. right?
Highly thankful to you sir❤️
Thank you so much sir this was really helpful and so easy to grasp
its helpfulll
21:56 if the sale increasing by 6L and we know that VC is 50% then we can do it with the help of VC (variable cost) also, new contribution will be Sale - VC = contribution, then we can deduct FC (fixed cost) to get EBIT
24,00,000+6,00,000 - VC(50%) = we will get contribution (15,00,000)
then deduct fixed cost :
15,00,000 - 10,00,000 (fc) = 500,000 (EBIT)
Perfect explanation of the chapter .
