It is free with park admission… If you don’t have a season pass I think tickets for Candyland are a little bit less than the spring/summer/fall season but don’t quote me on that.
I don't see it on the website anymore...I tried too last year and they said it was only for those who had renewed (which I didn't do...I had a bunch of comp tickets this year). I'd message Hershey on one the social networks and ask
After seeing other parks do Christmas, it would be nice to see this event upgraded in a big way. The lack of theater entertainment or live music is a real bummer. I also wouldn’t mind seeing 2-3 portable rides brought in to spruce up some dead zones in the park (years past saw stuff like the Mini Train and Fun Slide moved for this very reason). And I still don’t get why a wooden coaster can’t be open for the event this year, even just one side of Lightning Racer would be better than nothing.
