Beautiful Upload. The precision of his breakfast preparation and the frozen stills shows the early morning agony. This movie was made a decade and a half in the era that Pete Townsend Characterized as "I lived in a Black and White World."
First saw this when a freshman in college in 1966. It was my first insight into the world outside the U.S. Since that time, I have traveled extensively in Europe, Africa and Asia but I will always remember this first intro insight into a larger world out there. I was fascinated by the French press coffee maker, for example, shown in the beginning of the movie. No one in the US ever used one and even now are very rare.
