It’s not corny or anything because that’s walos clear mission in life, to speak positivity into the youth/younger generation…..it’s how he’s become a success and that message might hit someone else if not Kodak so it has to be telivised
I'm glad they spoke to him. He needed that heart to heart talk. Kodak is going through a lot of pain right now in his life. 😢 it was hard to watch, but needed.
He definitely needed that heart to heart that was posted on the internet for the whole world to see. It was a really deep heart to heart, like on real personal level.
I can’t stand when people say because it was recorded that it wasn’t genuine or it was corny… there’s plenty of young dudes that needed to hear that too 🤷🏻♂️. Also when I see a video of someone doing something good it makes me want to do something good. I’ll never understand the negative people that say “why did you have to record it”
Just because others haven’t listened doesn’t mean that you stop trying!!!! Nothing funny about trying to save a black man from his troubles!! You keep trying until you can’t try anymore💯
Gille and Wallo are from Philly. When I lived muslims preach to me like that while trying to eat burgers 🍔 at Wendy's. . Philadelphians a preachy their scene was authentic. 🤦🏾♀️😫
I don’t take drugs but if wallo or gillie ever stopped me and gave me a speech, I would actually fall asleep, wait till the speech is done, then go order me more drugs, that’d how cringe they are.
I was mad at Tsu Surf for calling all of y'all Squares but I get it now 😹😹😹. The one thing y'all forgot to mention about Wallo talking to those young brothers including Pooh Shiesty was that he was a 1,000,000% correct and everything that he said happened to those young boys in real time. What was performative about Wallo crying about his brother dying in front of his grandmothers house and him having to have enough humility to come home and not look for revenge??? 🤔🤔🤔 I don't think y'all thought this one out all the way as a collective. Still love y'all podcast tho
But isn't that what Joe was saying tho..he said Wallo is about 0-4 with those talks.. meaning Wallo has these talks with those Artists.. and they Dont Listen.. then they End Up in Jail.. like Wallo was Warning them about..
Hmmm unfortunately 2 things can be true at the same time! G & W can be coming from a genuine helpful supportive place All while using it for content. I mean the pod is how they eat!
I think what they are saying agrees with your statement. Performative doesn't mean fake. It means a little extra sauce on it. 2 people can cry, but one may wail and gnash. That doesn't make the emotion fake. So I think that what they mean. It's a podcast, the message is genuine, it hit the nail on the head, and in his style or delivery, he added some sauce. No disrespect.
He’s young and addicted and has a lot of pressure on him…I think it was necessary to see it publicly bc young people need to see that since social media is so prevalent in a lot of their lives. Not sure if it’ll make a great impact, but if it helps at all that’s a difference maker. Kodak is young yet, so he’ll continue to go through, I just hope Wallo’s message doesn’t fall on deaf ears. I want to see Yak get better 🤲🏼
What goes on today has been going on. We just see it play out more on social media. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles warned me about the streets and the crack game. You think they didn’t see the same things play out with heroin and cocaine from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s?
I don’t even think it’s the filming itself that put the “genuine-ness” in question. It’s whoever edited it to add sad ass background music and logos and such.
If we can show a black man down on drugs for content to the WORLD! then we can SHOW THE WORLD, that there is BLACK MAN and there is more BLACK MEN tryna help!
You have to understand that the message wasn't just for Kodak, Kodak brings eyes to the pod and allows more people, who are fans of Kodak and that lifestyle, to hear the message that the masses need to hear
Terrible mentality, you gonna let a little kid jump off a roof if he doesn’t wanna listen?… if no one’s trying to get through to em; then there’s absolutely no hope at all for the future. Even if only 1 outta 10 listen it’s worth all 10 convos to be had.
my thinking is: you can try to reach them & talk them off the bridge then they jump anyway because “you don’t understand me” all while claiming no one was there for them. All these guys get himd up because they choose to listen to the wrong ppl & 💩 on the right ones. It is what it is
Bouta check that interview out... Kodak been through some shit... hopefully Kodak'll be aight and this won't be like that goofy drink champs interview that nore tried to line em up on ... and get rid of that dumbass high chair in the middle
You can't tell Kodak nothin and his fan base enables his bad behavior. Several people have tried to talk to him & failed. I believe 98% of every bad rumor about him is actually true. You can't help someone that won't help themselves or save someone that doesn't see they need to be saved. Kodak only wants people around him that are just like him. It is what it is an it's probably gonna end bad and he has no one else to blame. There's a short list of celebrities I have zero empathy for and he's one of them.

And a couple of days later he was on live and you could hear him snorting something.
Maybe he something happened in prison?
He definitely needed that heart to heart that was posted on the internet for the whole world to see. It was a really deep heart to heart, like on real personal level.

Exactly. Positive energy breeds positive energy. We see enough negative content nowadays.
positive energy is always needed...
Just because others haven’t listened doesn’t mean that you stop trying!!!! Nothing funny about trying to save a black man from his troubles!! You keep trying until you can’t try anymore💯
Looking forward for the next one!

How you tell stories is unmatched!

Being performative about is vital to pass on the message to the general public , not just Kodak.
If you to young to take advice for your best interest from people with more experience, then you deserve what you get. Good luck

Kodak is down bad and he doesn’t even know it smh ..praying for this young man .
I’m sure he knows
You can still be genuine and make content
Who’s to say he hasn’t spoke to them off camera? I’d say he most definitely has. Showing up to they court dates after the fact. Y’all buggin.
Sadly Drug Addicts with talent/money have to hit a REAL low before changing and too many times, the drugs end up taking them
Every time Joe wants to say a random number it’s always 99.
I don’t even think it’s the filming itself that put the “genuine-ness” in question. It’s whoever edited it to add sad ass background music and logos and such.

Recording yourself helping someone is wack. Period.
You have to understand that the message wasn't just for Kodak, Kodak brings eyes to the pod and allows more people, who are fans of Kodak and that lifestyle, to hear the message that the masses need to hear
This is Not a five minute convo😮
Toxic shit joe
if the younger dudes aren't gonna listen then whats the point? Let'em go out how they wanna go out

This podcast has some of the worst commentary ever sometimes.

Let it go, Elsa
