TurtleCamera might be taking the crown for the most impressive Abyss run of the patch again :O I always look forward to seeing these, and the notes on your gameplay (and the 888 resets lol) really drive home how much thought goes into this, hats off to you like the adaptations to your rotation to deal with Coppelius and the Baptist's shields are super impressive 👍

However, I did play around with the team by not resetting after finishing a half to see if it was possible to continue the run without everyone’s bursts at the start of the next half. It turns out that the only one I couldn’t do this for is 12-3-2 because I took hits from two energy orbs in 12-2-2, RIP.
Honestly nice seeing some of the best 4 star supports in the spotlight for once again, it feels like most showcases have 5 star supports nowadays. Diona and Sucrose have been overlooked more frequently recently. Glad to see them carrying Amber through this abyss
You need her C4-C5 to maximize her potential, C2 for Manual Detonation, C4 for Skill CD Reduction + 1 Extra Charge for her skill, C5 for +3 Skill Talent Level Well Other character constellations is not that hard to get but Amber constellations is only available in standard banner, Mondstadt chronicle banner & Masterless Starglitter Shop
@brussailpook8213 I waited 2.5 years total to get 5 copies of Amber from Paimon’s Bargains and then got the 6th constellation a few weeks later using standard banner pulls from the Fountain of Lucine
Constellations do make a huge impact on Amber, specifically C2 and C4 (and sometimes C5 if you have to push damage breakpoints fast). I go into more detail in the first chapter of my my C2 Melt Amber Mechanics Guide video if you wanted more information on this.

This is the playstyle I enjoy the most, so naturally I’m willing to put much more effort into learning it. This is the reason my reset count tends to be in the 900’s for Melt Amber content. Also, to clarify the high reset count a bit more, a lot of the resets are runs that would have been a 3-star run. The reason I still reset them is that I want to push this team as far as I can.
It’s because doing a normal attack is one of the required abilities to get the full ATK% buff from Polar Star’s passive: “Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Ashen Nightstar will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.”
You don’t really need to have as much HP% on Diano in my experience. As long as she heals at least 5K per tick, then that’s enough to get the full buff from Song of Days Past, as long as you are standing in Diano’s Signature Mix in those 3 ticks. You can probably just run an ER% sands on her instead. Some time far in the future when the workload in graduate school isn’t too heavy, I may make an update Melt Amber Mechanics Guide video to talk about Diano in more depth.

You’re welcome, 👍! I’d go with either Layla (only if you have at least C4 because that gives a noticeable buff to Amber’s charged attacks) or Kaeya (provides some off-field damage to make up for the lack of huge buffs from Diano).
