You can tell this was the season they realised they couldn't keep doing this. Mike's drug problem, Snooki and Deena's drinking, Ronnie and Sam. They were all just starting to hate each other.

Yeah true jenni and Pauly and vin were the best. Jenni kept it together even though right before Italy she was depressed and was on downers because her and roger had a miscarriage right before Italy. Even after that she still kept it together better than the others!

This was the most depressing season. Snooki was dealing with depression because of Jionni, Mike was detoxing off of pain killers, and we literally watched Ronnie be abusive to Sam the entire time. Also, Deena and Vinny were dealing with anxiety, Jenni and Snookie were fighting most of the season, and Pauly was just there lol. But yeah this season just got so depressing that I never even finished it. I feel like JS kinda went downhill after this season.

It’s worth catching up now and watching Family Vacation for Mike’s comeback story if not for anything else. He really turned things around after he got 100% clean and sober. It’s crazy watching the OG seasons now and seeing how he behaved. He was so strung out.

I like this season because it’s the first time Sam got away from Ron, even if it was only sort of, and actually bonded with Jenny. Very different from the past, I loved it.
Paulys got the sweetest, cutest smile I've seen on a man. I think he's always been my favorite guy on JS. He always had the coolest, funniest personality, and the best sayings. And he was always the nice guy too. Like from what everybody said, after the show, it was Pauly who kept in touch with everybody. Like he's really everybody's brother (except for Vinny that's his bromance soul mate). With the girls it was Jenni and Snooki and the guys Pauly and Vinny. Bff's for life

Watch at 29:10 and beyond Jenni after trying to break them up sees Ron get so aggressive. It was terrifying for her. Seeing her, JWOWW of all people curl up into a ball and cover her ears and eyes completely broke me to the core. It shows you just how abusive Ron is. I mean he literally LITERALLY just told Sam that they are roommates and nothing more but when he found out what Mike said he goes to destroying HIS PROPERTY!
