I know you can do it Felix! The first win will come and once it does, I bet you'll be on a bit of a streak. If you put in the hours and stay hungry for a win, it'll come sooner rather than later. Gl!
Great stuff! Love the aggression and well done for getting yourself fit. Now get fitter. Cam Norrie is a great example of a player who got better on fitness. That's what separates players. 3 sets to 5 sets, stamina, resistance. You'll get there, no doubt.
Felix, I am super impressed with the level of professionalism you have already. Keep following your process and make adjustments as necessary and you will go far I am sure! Good luck
From someone who used to play low level county tennis, so like to regard myself as a competent tennis player, the level of tennis you play at is crazy. The constant dedication that you have to put in just to compete in some of these tournaments is mental. Keep working hard and I'm sure you will find success on both here and on the court mate.
This was quality stuff man ! Filming and editing are also developing 😀 nice hitting session, the inside out forehand of Raff is really nice.. you are working hard and it pays of, you are quick and your 🥎 is landing deeper as before. I am really looking forward to your serve and volley game, keep it up 😎
Absolutly loving this series mate. You are a heck of a player and i belive that you can do this. Respect the work you put in and i can only learn form you.
i absolutely LOVED this video man.. not just a match video, but showing drills, footworking, warming up and etc.. the tie break level was absurd as well haha.. i loved the show point at 8:11 where you both did things that you wouldn't be doing if it was a serious match but anyways, it was a hell of a show point hehehe.. thank you bro, we are loving the channel, the content and to be part of your journey (you're gonna get there!!).. God bless you!
Great Video!!! Felix you are a playing a really good tennis man, I have no doubts you will get your first ATP points soon. Hope to see more videos with your brother too, we miss him
Thanks for the insights to your preparation Felix! I’ll be trying those footwork drills and awesome tie breaker to watch. Keep up the great effort in your tennis and video editing 💪🏼
That tiebreak was so tight! Im not a coach or anything but something i see just from watching the few clips you show is that your not winning a lot of free points off your serve… maybe something to work on. Can’t wait for your next tourny
Such a great tie break bewteen you and your partner!. Man you´re an incredible player and inspiring person , a very good example that the hard work eventually get result. It won´t surprise me that you will get your ATP point soon. I want to get an ATP point too and i hope one day finally achieve it. Thanks for your dedication to explain us all the details about your very fascinating journey.
dude, there were some amazing slap points from you. much easier to do in a training day obvs, but if you manage to hit some in a tournament match, the opponent starts having to risk it way more so you might get more unforced errors from there. Keep it up! those legs are insanely fast!
for the footwork drills, i would HIGHLY recommend that if possible, please do the footwork drills on a soft surface. it will not only force your legs to work harder but it will be easier on the joints which will help you get more on-court time that does not lead to injury
Thanks for the video - great insights as always. Maybe you could also make a video on how you cope with losses (both when you played well but still lost, and when you played badly). Cheers and keep up the good work!
I think we focus a lot on hitting the ball rather than reaching the ball well, we can swing the racquet well when we reach the ball well. Recovery time is very important rather than power, you should be able to recover before the ball bounces on the opp court except for the winner. ball depth and height anticipation is very important and we should be able to anticipate short ball very quickly.
You have the game to do it :) I'm 25 and if I had a slightly different upbringing I would have tried it was always a dream to play professionally, but I hope you can do it, and see you in the davis cup team in a few seasons
Should read the book “Chasing points” by Gregory Howe- its tough qualifying et alone getting to the latter of a tourney where ATP points are won. Good luck.
Great content, editing is so sick🔥 Hope when your coach returns you film some videos with him, where he can tell us a little bit more about your game, strategies, development plans etc form his point of view
Awesome video, I think this is one of your best so far, I like how you are so disipline when it comes to your S&C and Physio time. I think you should keep dictating with your serve plus one. In that match where you lost to the college guy you were being put on defense too early in the points and he was running you around so I like your aggressive tennis. Keep mixing in that high and heavy ball so your opponents don't get to used to the flat ball to their strike zone. Sorry for the long feedback, just trying to help :)
Love the video! Just a suggestion though. While doing your movement exercises you should be keeping your head up. No sense in keeping the head down looking at the ladder. try maintaining your posture and focus forwards! Keep up the great work!
Amazing video! The only thing that I think I can make a constructive criticism is for those 3 angry forehand winners on the return. It won u the points now but is not something reliable or that I consider a good habit.
the way you reached the ball (3:09 to 3:12) you don't have balance in your body when you reached the ball and also gave a clear indication on your shot selection to the opponent; with this style, you find difficulty with good ATP players
David Lloyds Raynes Park? Just recently joined there and looking to get back into playing more after I had multiple knee injuries when I was younger - let me know if you are ever short of a practice partner and need a light hit, happy to facilitate whatever drills you want to pratice :) Also good luck with the remaining tournaments this year - I am sure you'll get there soon! I remember playing my first and only future qualifying tournament around 10 years ago and suffered another knee injury right at the start of the match (very ambitious anyway with 0 training or coaching after university) - so absolutely fantastic to see you working on injury prevention exercises! It will be a very hard grind on the futures circuit as I am sure you well know but all the very best, hope to see you at wimbledon one day! 🇬🇧🤞🏆
Felix it is probably gonna cost you money but futures qualifiers are way easier in places outside Europe. In Peru, my home country,2 ex D1 mediocre college players easily beat the guys from the qualifiers and got to the main draw, they both lost in the main draw but one was really close of that first atp point
hahha, i ask myself that question all the time as well, sometimes i am just not motivated but i remember why i am doing all this and also i remember that when i am motivated down the line again i will appreciate the hard work i have put in previously
If i could make a very slight commentary, it would be that you do not play your balls very far right or left. They are most of the time near the center which makes it easier for your opponent to catch. Maybe you could try and do drills or idk to force yourself to play more on the extremities of the court. (Sorry for the bad english/

Wow, that tie-break was incredible. Every point was full out war.
haha thanks how we like to play 😂
I felt it was actually a bit of showboating, having some fun with wacky balls. While still going full out war off course 😀
I know you can do it Felix! The first win will come and once it does, I bet you'll be on a bit of a streak. If you put in the hours and stay hungry for a win, it'll come sooner rather than later. Gl!
My streak could started last year but my dumb ass mouth forgot to call double fault. And I think this is the reason I will not win another match

It was the best tiebreaker I have ever seen!!!
I found it kinda funny how the second felix started to lose the tie break, he got mad and hit back-to-back forehand winners. Im the exact same way.
This is some great tennis! Can see the improvement in your game everytime you post a new video!
Keep it up Felix, we've got your back!
great to see Lucian back on court in a video! always such an intense tiebreaker between you and Raff
Lets go bro

Great vid, the rallies in the tiebreak were insane, both of you did not give a point stupidly to the other guy that's terrific.

Some fun points with Raff there! Keep sharing this stuff, really good for younger aspiring players to see!💪
You can do it Felix much love coming from the USA you are such a inspiration keeping grinding it out
In the last points you played incredible
What an insane tiebreak
So much fun to watch, can't wait to see the next part of your journey!
YOOO THAT WAS SICK in the tiebreak when he hit that angle forehand on you and you went full on BEAST MODE!!!

yh for sure, just wanted to let some anger out

The levels to this game are insane
Just me thinking big fella Raff is goin nick kyrgios mode?
I am really looking forward to season 2 of the Road to 1 ATP point. And I suspect the breakthrough will come in season 3.
damn those ladder drills were INSANE
I'm sure you'll make it!! Lucian also looks in good shape. Is he also looking forward into his first ATP point??
Wish u the best of luck from México!
he is slightly younger, but we are currently working on a series for him as well 😜
Fascinating.
thank you
Goodluck Felix..

Hi lucian,
I asked for you in last video. Good to see you👌
Hope you enjoyed it!
:)
All great exercises, would like to see some wood choppers for rotational core strength and stability.
Nice video. I was wondering if you could do a short of your serve since it is super fast and clean.
what exactly do you mean
amazing , Thanks for sharing your beautiful moments on court with us , One question , Do you do all sessions at the same day ?
sometimes, but not every day, mostly it will be 2 tennis sessions + gym
Your bros backhand is clean af
Damn that was a good tiebreaker
Can you please make a video of improveing the serve 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for the video. The details on the injury prévention would have been nice... :((
this week was a bit hectic to be honest but will try to get some more detail in future videos
Omg thank you Lucian for your appearance! He’s grown up so much.
