Hello they make a tool that is faster when you pull bar out, handle about the length of bolt cutters, shears both rivets off flip die over install cicle section on and rivets in press handle it sets rivets, dont recall what it was called but saved time if going to do them all
I grow up in Holland the Netherlands for me looks like you don't use any fertilizer or is it normal in your area have not full thick grass just wondering we in Holland we have learn use every hectare as much yield as possible you probably know those dutch dairy farming industry
I have one of these. No cab. Mine has a Chrysler Industrial slant 6. It's on its second engine. I would prefer your Perkins engine.

Gosh I remember spending hours swapping out used sickle sections when I was a kid.
It's a memorable experience, especially if you get your hand in the wrong place!

I've heard the Hesstons and New Hollands of the era are similar, but not quite the same .

to make starting a little more simple , install a push button switch just to stay in the cab.
+piper jones the whole starting system needs to be fixed properly, we just haven't had time yet.
Much older technology than what I'm used to. We've always had pull type disc mowers with flail conditioners. What's your ground speed when cutting?
+Drew w it doesn't have a speedometer but we average about five to six acres an hour.

that's just a tad bit wider and longer sickle bar than my 7 fter.
Its a little harder to move though. :)
