I am exceptionally impressed and overjoyed by this high quality digital enhancement, which is such a fitting tribute to a Bossa Nova Maestro like Walter Wanderley... Well Done, and please give us more.
D E P..... SALUDOS DESDE ESPAÑA
Nice! It's clear I am getting older. I would have passed this by in the past but detached from the weight of fashion snobbery it is actually very good music and the production is excellent.
Mike, "She Told Me" is the gem in this WW collection. Wonderful melody. I bought this album in the US when it was released here many years ago but it had a different album title ("Perpetual Motion Love"). But it did NOT include "She Told Me" and a few other tracks. If you or anyone else can tell me where I can purchase "Boss Nova Showcase" with the missing tracks please let me know. I prefer a CD format but will take the 33 RPM record too. I really would like to have "She Told Me" and the other missing tracks in my WW library...Regards, James, Columbus, Ohio, USA...
I think multiple instruments are used. Some tracks even contain electric piano (very probably a Rhodes). A Yamaha CSY1 or 2 would be a good candidate for the synth sounds. The exact release date could possibly help to rule out a lot of later equipment.
Wow ! Great to hear good samba and classic 70s keyboard. Thanks for caring.
A Brasilian master of the Hammond for samba!!
Walter Wanderley has been one of my favorite Bossa Nova exponents since the '60s!!!

That is also my favorite song
Örökzöld slágerek 🍀
Does anyone know the drawbar settings he used?
He seemed to use the 16’ and 4’ on the solo manual for several of his Sixties recordings.
I like this. What make and model is this?
Thats a good question. I've assumed its a Hammond, but it could be a Farfisa or Crumar. That percussion sounds a bit thin for Hammond, to me anyway.
@@tcrosslinho5565 sounds look like Yamaha yc old vintage

On my mind - Walter Wanderley
