In 2018 I learned how to pray the rosary in Latin thanks to this video! I used to replay it over and over again until I got it stuck in my head for good.
I am 21 years old. I was never raised religious but I knew of God, but more than anything I knew of the evil around me, ever more present in today’s world. I began going to church and taking part in services; my journey through philosophy to try and find morality lead me back home to the church and I have come full circle but now knowing why I am here. I’m working to become a baptised Catholic after Easter next. My spiritual journey is nearing completion, and never before have I been able to feel so much so at ease in myself and towards man; the sins of others and their vitriol used to consume me, and now it simply flows through.

Y M I have just recently started the rosary as part of my morning routine, so so many hail Mary’s, my fiancée who introduced me to the faith did try to tell me but I didn’t expect so many hahaha. I love it though, it’s almost like a mini Bible in its structure and the repetitions really do put you into a mindset, almost trance like, making me be closer to God. My prayer book I follow is St Benedict’s, as it has a really nice fortnightly morning, evening and night structure. I will pray for you for sure!

I love this Latin Rosary. At times I have started a rosary with my petition & within seconds my prayers have been answered. In 2020 my dad passed I had been praying the rosary in English for about 4 hours by my dad’s bedside, when I had a vision of Mother Mary she was golden & filled with light she looked at me with her eyes of mercy next to her was Jesus she aluminate him as he leaned forward 3 times, just then I looked over at my dad as he took his last breath. He was sleeping peacefully as he passed. This experience was very peaceful I felt as if Mother Mary & Jesus were my family. My dad always prayed the rosary he was a very faithful man. Peace be with u all!

I see all of those beautiful, beautiful testimonies and I really Wanne share mine with you also. I was catholic my whole life but I didn’t belief I was a really bad catholic Christian. I just went to church because my mother wanted me to come with her.. I was like everyone I thought as everyone thought . I had a boyfriend went to lots of parties, hat thousands of friends and was drunk like everyday also in school.. But one day everything changed i don’t know I think I never really wanted such a life and in one night I really had horrible horrible dreams , about the hell , about the world how the world will be destroyed in the future and I thought I loose my mind .. really .. I was despressed, I cried for weeks and didn’t go to school or even with my „friends“. The only way I found out was the true, strickt Catholic Church , the sacraments , the Eucharistie. Now, 1 year later I take every sacrament, I go to Church and in one and a half year, when Iam 18 Years old I go to the monastery Karmel in Austria and will life there forever whitout any contact to the world, because this world needs so much prayer .. Im sorry for my bad English.

I used to serve in mass when i was12 yrs old. I replied the prayers in Latin but without understanding just like a parrot. All languages were thrusted onto humans by God at the building of the tower as in the old testament. If God gave the laguages to the peoples , why should one language take priority over others. Talk to God in any language, He will understand.
I live in California and attend Latin mass every Sunday...it has been a gift for me as I am fairly new to TLM and love it more and more each time I attend. I feel very grateful for it. I speak Spanish, so Latin comes easy to understand for me. But the TLM is definitely divine and powerful.

@@aaroncamss4053 They abhor Ecclesiastical latin far more than classical latin. Latin, Greek and Hebrew were the languages used to write “Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews.” on the Cross so they are all sacred languages.
I have learned the Rosary in Latin as well, especially after hearing from an exorcist priest just how powerful the Latin rite in exorcism is as opposed to the English rite. I knew then I had to learn the rosary in Latin. We need all the arsenal we can get in this day and age - ESPECIALLY now with our current administration. Pray the rosary daily - & pray it in Latin. This recording is excellent. That being said, they left off the end of the salve regina - "Ora pro nobis sancta Dei Genetrix, ut digni officiamor promissionibus Christi."
I have been called to prayer and recently developed a fervent desire to pray in Latin...to more fully understand each root word of my English. This process has brought me to tears to see the fullness of God. THANK YOU for teaching me how to pronounce these words and to guide me in the Rosary as it's been said for centuries. I feel so connected to the ascended church. It's phenomenal
I enjoy knowing that by praying the Rosary in Latin, you are praying exactly the way so many ancient saints prayed. It is very comforting to be saying the same words in prayers over a thousand years old whether the prayer was originally prayed by monks in Spain in the 12th Century, Knights Templar during the Crusades or holy Nuns in countless convents thought out the centuries in Ireland, France, pre-reformation Britain , etc.
As a side note, this is ecclesiastical (italianised) pronunciation which was not commonly accepted before the 19th century. Spanish monks in medieval times would have pronounced Latin according to their own native language.

Thank you for the Latin rosary. In one of his podcasts Jesse Romero said that at an exorcism at which he was present the devil would not leave until finally they prayed the prayers in Latin. Ever since then I’ve been trying to pray in Latin as much as I can. I’m still working on learning the Apostles Creed, the Hail Holy Queen and the Fatima prayer. This is so helpful and it’s nice to be praying with someone since I live alone.

Evil beings cringe when they hear "Hail Mary... " that is the strongest prayer you can ever recite. So, don't merely play it, go get your rosary and recite the prayers while meditating on the sacred mysteries. You will then experience the real power of the rosary in all its glory. My rosary never leaves my pocket and I begin to pray it when Im frightened by such beings. May the peace of God be with you.

When we enter the church, I need to wear the veil first, which I did when I was still in grade school and in a white plain dress too. then when I enetered , I smelled the incense immediately, so loved the smell and then I started listening to the head priest. of course, they were with the same Catholic doctrines, some of course… i forgot the Church name .

Relaxing. American in Taiwan. Rosary hour is beautiful at my local Catholic church when it is chanted in Vietnamese Sunday afternoons by Vietnamese factory workers and wives of Taiwanese men here. I listen to this at night before bed.
I've just recently went back to praying the Holy Rosary in Latin daily and it helps to bring me some peace of mind and spirit. In the process, though, it stirs up a lot of emotions, especially as I'm praying for my adult kids and their families and whatever hardships they might be going through. I think it's because it makes me vulnerable and my heart desires nothing more than to let go and let God. These days I'm not in the true sense a practicing Catholic; hopefully, though, God, our Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary will continue to help me in my life's journey as I am still wondering in the desert. May God bless us all and give us His peace.

it took a year but i have Ave Maria,Pater Noster and in Nomine Patri learned by heart,also the prayer to St.Michael. l am still struggling with the Credo as it's a big prayer but i'm half way through it by heart. If you break it down to two or three lines a day of say the Ave Maria you will have it nailed in a month. I record each line on my phone each day and play it on repeat til it is learned,line by line. I have also learned Ave Maria in Italian,French and Spanish and it adds a beautiful sound to the prayers, All originating in Latin of course but Latin is King.

I want to learn Latin to pray the holy rosary. I dreamed Mother Mary when I was 13... then few days after I dreamed too of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Continiously it was Papa Jesus who always let me see Him. He told me oen time that I was confused of something and I asked for a sign. That early morning , I dreamed of Him telling me " it is your choice ". When it was my birthday . I was leaning and praying infront of the Holy Family Church. The most Sacred Heart of Jesus' image lifted up from the wall and He smiled on me showing Himself clearly with no words and with same rays that it was in the picture but more lights coming out. I've told my mom while ironing my big brother's clothes... and she " I am blessed ". Until now I feel Him, the Holy Father too, the Saints especially St. Peter and the Holy Angels singing. Hallelujiah. I'm not what u think crazy. But If 1 human soul prays more often and have so much faith, then it would attest too that he/she might see THEM too!
I always play this Holy Rosary in Latin of the Franciscan Brothers. This prayer is very powerful especially against eveil forces. They'll get afraid of whoever prays the holy prayer words.
I came home to the Church in 1996 at the age of 38. Having been brought up as an Anglican I found the Rosary a little tricky at times. I especially had trouble meditating on the mysteries while saying something else. Praying in Latin has (almost) solved that. Since I know what I am saying, but not in my native tongue, I can concentrate better. Sometimes the presence of Mary and Jesus or the Holy Ghost is palpable.
RW Smith Why does it matter which language. The important thing is that we say it. Jesus NEVER. spoke Latin. He spoke Hebrew and Aramaic. Why aren't we praying in that Language????

I love the speed. I don`t like praying the Rosary at Church. When the leader goes so slow. It loses it`s essence. And it sounds robotic. And has no life or energy. You gotta say it like u mean it. Like this speed. You can hear the power. Each word is like a knock out punch to evil !!! I love Latin !!!
Actually it sounds fast because it is in Latin. You are not supposed to say the rosary or any prayer fast. If this was translated to English, it would sound exactly like it is said in church. This is something that comes up a bit in class in our rosary society, I teach the rosary in both latin and english through a program in our society and getting people to understand that is quite difficult. Its similar to when you hear someone speak Spanish for example and you think they are speaking fast, they are not. When you say your rosary in English, say it steadily, but not rapidly.
+Jill Francis Agreed! Too many people want to just rush through the Rosary, when we should be saying it slowly (but not too slow!) and REALLY focusing on the mysteries. That is when I really feel the presence of Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin

I'm 22 years old and i come from Rotterdam (Netherlands) and i converted to the Catholic Church on March 30/2014 in the Cathedral of Rotterdam and i recivied my baptism, confirmation and first communion and i have prayed the rosary for the first time in 2015 in Dutch and a few months later in Latin and i can pray the rosary in Dutch and Latin. In both versions i feel peace in my heart. Please keep praying the rosary so much as possible in your own language or in Latin !!! May God bless you.
Listening to this beautiful rosary in my home with my beautiful children, praying for the virus not to spread anymore and take anymore lives than it has already. People please wash your hands don't leave the house if you don't have to....take shoes off before entering the house, wash hands immediately after coming back from grocery shopping. Take this advice seriously and self isolate yourself, you are helping tons by not catching it or not passing it. Much love to the whole world going thru this together. ❤
Absolutely beautiful! It can be adapted to any of the Mysteries according to the day the Rosary is being said. I wish I had heard the St. Michael prayer also in Latin. Thank you my Beautiful Friars. I heard the Rosary in Latin surrounded by the statutes of St. Francis, St. Anthony (my unfailing and very faithful Friend), Padre Pio, and the Great St. Benedict of Nursia. My late father prayed the rosary in Latin every day. I feel closer to him every time I do as well. It so beautiful and so healing . Thank you.
Every day I pray along with it. It gives my day balance and purpose. My health is suspect but this way I have a peace during the day.

I used to serve in mass when i was12 yrs old. I replied the prayers in Latin but without understanding just like a parrot. All languages were thrusted onto humans by God at the building of the tower as in the old testament. If God gave the laguages to the peoples , why should one language take priority over others. Talk to God in any language, He will understand.

I live in California and attend Latin mass every Sunday...it has been a gift for me as I am fairly new to TLM and love it more and more each time I attend. I feel very grateful for it. I speak Spanish, so Latin comes easy to understand for me. But the TLM is definitely divine and powerful.

@@aaroncamss4053 They abhor Ecclesiastical latin far more than classical latin. Latin, Greek and Hebrew were the languages used to write “Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews.” on the Cross so they are all sacred languages.
I have learned the Rosary in Latin as well, especially after hearing from an exorcist priest just how powerful the Latin rite in exorcism is as opposed to the English rite. I knew then I had to learn the rosary in Latin. We need all the arsenal we can get in this day and age - ESPECIALLY now with our current administration. Pray the rosary daily - & pray it in Latin. This recording is excellent.

I enjoy knowing that by praying the Rosary in Latin, you are praying exactly the way so many ancient saints prayed. It is very comforting to be saying the same words in prayers over a thousand years old whether the prayer was originally prayed by monks in Spain in the 12th Century, Knights Templar during the Crusades or holy Nuns in countless convents thought out the centuries in Ireland, France, pre-reformation Britain , etc.

As a side note, this is ecclesiastical (italianised) pronunciation which was not commonly accepted before the 19th century. Spanish monks in medieval times would have pronounced Latin according to their own native language.

Thank you for the Latin rosary. In one of his podcasts Jesse Romero said that at an exorcism at which he was present the devil would not leave until finally they prayed the prayers in Latin. Ever since then I’ve been trying to pray in Latin as much as I can. I’m still working on learning the Apostles Creed, the Hail Holy Queen and the Fatima prayer. This is so helpful and it’s nice to be praying with someone since I live alone.

I've just recently went back to praying the Holy Rosary in Latin daily and it helps to bring me some peace of mind and spirit. In the process, though, it stirs up a lot of emotions, especially as I'm praying for my adult kids and their families and whatever hardships they might be going through. I think it's because it makes me vulnerable and my heart desires nothing more than to let go and let God. These days I'm not in the true sense a practicing Catholic; hopefully, though, God, our Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary will continue to help me in my life's journey as I am still wondering in the desert. May God bless us all and give us His peace.

Started to play it and now going to keep playing it everyday till I learn it by memory thank you
it took a year but i have Ave Maria,Pater Noster and in Nomine Patri learned by heart,also the prayer to St.Michael. l am still struggling with the Credo as it's a big prayer but i'm half way through it by heart. If you break it down to two or three lines a day of say the Ave Maria you will have it nailed in a month. I record each line on my phone each day and play it on repeat til it is learned,line by line. I have also learned Ave Maria in Italian,French and Spanish and it adds a beautiful sound to the prayers, All originating in Latin of course but Latin is King.
Pray that the cathedral choir gets 2 tenors and 2 strong sopranos.

I want to learn Latin to pray the holy rosary.
I dreamed Mother Mary when I was 13... then few days after I dreamed too of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Continiously it was Papa Jesus who always let me see Him.
He told me oen time that I was confused of something and I asked for a sign.
That early morning , I dreamed of Him telling me "
it is your choice ".
When it was my birthday . I was leaning and praying infront of the Holy Family Church.
The most Sacred Heart of Jesus' image lifted up from the wall and He smiled on me showing Himself clearly with no words and with same rays that it was in the picture but more lights coming out.
I've told my mom while ironing my big brother's clothes... and she " I am blessed ".
Until now I feel Him, the Holy Father too, the Saints especially St. Peter and the Holy Angels singing. Hallelujiah.
I'm not what u think crazy. But If 1 human soul prays more often and have so much faith, then it would attest too that he/she might see THEM too!

I came home to the Church in 1996 at the age of 38. Having been brought up as an Anglican I found the Rosary a little tricky at times. I especially had trouble meditating on the mysteries while saying something else.
Praying in Latin has (almost) solved that. Since I know what I am saying, but not in my native tongue, I can concentrate better. Sometimes the presence of Mary and Jesus or the Holy Ghost is palpable.

Why does it matter which language. The important thing is that we say it.
Jesus NEVER. spoke Latin.
He spoke Hebrew and Aramaic.

I love the speed. I don`t like praying the Rosary at Church. When the leader goes so slow. It loses it`s essence. And it sounds robotic. And has no life or energy. You gotta say it like u mean it. Actually it sounds fast because it is in Latin. You are not supposed to say the rosary or any prayer fast. If this was translated to English, it would sound exactly like it is said in church. This is something that comes up a bit in class in our rosary society, I teach the rosary in both latin and english through a program in our society and getting people to understand that is quite difficult. Its similar to when you hear someone speak Spanish for example and you think they are speaking fast, they are not.
When you say your rosary in English, say it steadily, but not rapidly.

Nice to read your story. I'm 22 years old and i come from Rotterdam (Netherlands) and i converted to the Catholic Church on March 30/2014 in the Cathedral of Rotterdam and i recivied my baptism, confirmation and first communion and i have prayed the rosary for the first time in 2015 in Dutch and a few months later in Latin and i can pray the rosary in Dutch and Latin.
In both versions i feel peace in my heart.
Please keep praying the rosary so much as possible in your own language or in Latin !!! May God bless you.

Listening to this beautiful rosary in my home with my beautiful children, praying for the virus not to spread anymore and take anymore lives than it has already. People please wash your hands don't leave the house if you don't have to....take shoes off before entering the house, wash hands immediately after coming back from grocery shopping. Take this advice seriously and self isolate yourself, you are helping tons by not catching it or not passing it. Much love to the whole world going thru this together. ❤
