A lovely dedication to a life affirming artist. Realms of light was my first introduction. I hope that one day we might hear a remaster of his first album interdimensional music, i especially love lueena coast. I didn't know Iasos had passed, I only found out yesterday which shocked and saddened me as he looked so well. His loss will be felt by all his music touched. He leaves us a beautiful legacy 🙏❤️

thanks for this; very similar experiences in the last decade with him. I asked him for some advice about video effects and he gave me like a whole spreadsheet of plug-ins ❤

A little note about iasos add Steven Halpern. Musician friend of mine told me that they worked on these first two albums at foothill college in San Jose California.

Beautiful tribute, Josh. Thank U. I met him in Tucson in the mid-80's. Over the years, I considered him a treasured friend. In recent years, we were in frequent contact, esp. sharing information re: inter-dimensional, geo-political changes, Bashar, etc. 'Glad you mentioned Alan Watts - they were close friends & neighbors, having adjacent boathouses in Sausalito, CA in the 70's. His channeled album, 'Angelic Music' remains my daily mediation music, as it has since the 80's. Carlos Nino informed me of his passing, 3 days before his 77th birthday last Jan. I miss my friend, yet hear him & feel him in my meditation often. We are all enriched in having had contact with such a bright, light-being. Thank you & Bless you, dear brother Iasos, on your incredible journey!...

great video and heartfelt tribute! the fact that you shot the interview at the same spot as the legendary one has to mean something! i'm pretty sure tech issues aren't that bad and in general the quality isn't that important - what matters is what Iasos had to say and the vibe he spread through his every talk, just a magnificient radiation of excitement, through all these years! you really should share that interview and if you need any help, i can help with editing the audio.

Amazing video, I share your immense respect for him and his art. There’s a lot of things I could say, including some other worldly experience provoked by his music that would seem to validate some of his far out inspirations.
I remember once asking my friend Lionel from vinyl Williams,”what’s the most cosmic music you know of?” And his answer was “Iasos bro, Iasos” he is an inspiration for me and to be frank I kind of believe he IS getting these sounds downloaded from the being Vista. His entire cosmology was fascinating and gives fans some good lore to chew on. I’m glad you could cover and summarize much of that. Cheers!

I'm a big fan of Iasos--I have always been a little skeptical of the Alan Watts quote, though. Watts passed in 1973. I'm very curious where this comes from.
Update: you're the man! Great work with this video. A massive tragedy to lose him so suddenly. I had been speaking with Iasos via email and text message during the months of August and September of 2023 to see about getting a project idea going. He was quite interested but for some reason his business advisor Carlos Niño talked him out of it. I also had an awful time trying to communicate with Niño. Truly a shame that the ball never got rolling. My short and sporadic correspondence with Carlos might always leave kind of a bad taste in my mouth, sadly. Iasos agreed to an interview and he unfortunately passed before it came to be. Such a shame to have lost him so suddenly. I can't seem to find any info about recordings of his recent Greece concert either--would have LOVED to see that.
    Outstanding work with this video.

I should clarify that my "for some reason" is partially facetious--we are a super small independent type label, so I for sure can understand not being interested in something other than a big-dollar label. Don't wanna sound pompous here. He was just kind of big-league about it in a way that was not as cool as I'd prefer. Carlos, that is--Iasos was nothing but a treat the entire time.
