I interpreted Classic Loki to actually *be* a future version of the very same Loki we saw supposedly die in Infinity War. The TVA's sacred timeline story has Loki's arc end with "...and then Thanos snapped his neck." So long as Loki never shows up anywhere doing anything of note, the TVA doesn't care; that's how history records his "death", and if he's actually alive but completely out of the picture somewhere, it doesn't matter, that's fine. Classic Loki's nexus event wasn't faking his death, which is proof that the TVA has no objection to that, it doesn't go against their sacred timeline; it's only when he plans to leave his self-imposed isolation that they care. So as far as the sacred timeline is concerned, "our" Loki from Infinity War can very well have faked his death and be out there in isolation on his way to becoming Classic Loki, and so long as he never plans to leave the TVA will leave him alone. With the TVA gone, that Loki can resurface again without getting pruned, and while he still looks like Tom Hiddleston rather than Richard Grant.
Yeah but he probably wont resurface until a couple thousand years later, because that's about how long it takes an Asgardian/Jotun to age. When earth is either gone or super advanced. Idk if the mcu would go that far into the future but maybe if they go into kang it's possible.
Classic Loki said he hid as an inanimate object after creating an illusion. Since his variant event was caused during an apocalypse event, the TVA was not able to sense it. He hid and went into isolation hence not interfering with the sacred timeline (obviously not on purpose) When he got bored, and decided to leave his isolation, he created a branch, the TVA sensed him (cause he was not in an apocalypse), and pruned him.. so I think main Loki actually died, Classic Loki's variant event was surviving...at least that's what I imagined.

Old loki saying I casted such a projection that even the mad titan believed implies its hard to fool thanos. Marvel doesn't just put dialougues each word has meaning & their biggest villian till now saying no resurrections this time shows marvel wants us to know thanos killed him & that thanos knew loki faked his death before so he knew if he really killed him. Presently in the tv series we see loki going through his life's footage in the tva & then the footage stops when thanos killed him it is shown the reel ends so we know our loki died. However he escaped with the time stone because of endgame so tva took him & till now whatever happened was inside the tva or the void which does not effect the timeline yet until tva is destroyed. Also this loki is still evil as he's the one from first avengers after new York so you can't suddenly make him into a hero hence the whole arc of loki seeing the death of his mother & him & the destruction of asgard changed his views making loki think differently & turn into good.

ive said it all along he lived, if you look closely in the background when he is getting choked out, you can see someone off in the distance standing on debri in the background of the ship, after he gets choked out and dies, the person standing there watching turns and walks off, i always wondered if it was part of the crew who got caught in the scene of if it was loki, hiding casting a manifestation of himself like he always seems to do, and in loki episode 5 he does say he even fooled the mad titan himself, so id dare say i was right now.

This theory actually does make sense. Think about it, variant Loki learns of his demise, and hopefully towards the end of the series, he meets his future self, explains to him what happens, thus saving modern Loki and variant Loki being the one who dies instead. I think this should happen, seeing how Loki could play a major role in Multiverse Of Madness, modern Loki understands and the timeline remains intact and unaltered. This feels like this should absolutely happen

I think the fact that Loki's life filed "ended" just means that the TVA is ultimately flawed, and it is possible to fool them. After all, Kang is just a man.
I've said a diffrent universe or timeline Tony could be brought in to bring back iron man or even other dead characters, but with different personality ect.... it would be a cool thing to do with many great scenes between him and og Tonys friends and family as well as his machines like Jarvis. Bringing in a new Tony who is just as smart but does not have the same personality would not undermine Tonys sacrifice. Kinda like the Loki here or the Harrison wells in the flash all feel diffrent. I thought a diffrent universe Tony coming to main universe to warn Reed Richards about the coming threat of Galactus would be cool. During the last moment of that Tonys earth, him and reed were working on a way to stop galactus. But they fail and Tony with his suit was the only one that could save the work they put into it and sent Tony to a diffrent universe where he hunts down the fantastic 4 and reed to continue their work to stop galactus. Of course this would be after the first Fantastic 4 movie with doom so that there first introduction is not taking down galactus lol. I was thinking this could also be a young Tony if RDJ does not want to come back, and he could be Reed Richards prodigy/assistant/student ect... of sorts.

I think it would make sense for TVA Loki to take his “proper” place in the timeline again back in 2012, but now armed with the knowledge of what plays out and more powerful abilities. This way he can do what Classic Loki did when the time comes and perhaps even play some “tricks” in the timeline to correct some issues.
Not sure anyone has mentioned this but, during the series, Loki makes it a point to explain the differences between creating an illusion of himself versus creating a physical copy of himself. This would explain why Thanos was able to put his hands on Loki without passing through him. No time travel required. Not sure what episode, but I think it was the one where they go to a circus or a funhouse or something like that.

In the series Loki said that Loki never dies. I believe every Loki variants don’t get killed by Thanos, they do the same way the classic Loki did and they fooled the TVA because the TVA didn’t even realize that classic Loki was out there until he left the planet, the TVA thought Lokis were supposed to die but they just don’t, they hide in the planet and don’t cause any nexus event.

OMG, yes please! Loki's death NEVER EVER sat right with me. The entire thing felt WRONG. Loki isn't stupid enough to try to stab Thanos so half-assedly. It enraged me & I never accepted it. The whole thing felt very out of character for him, even if he was turning over a new hero leaf or not.
As much as I would like to see the og loki come back. The newer Loki seems more interesting and his story can go on for a lot longer, just more interesting to me

No one seems to be asking, what if they aren't stopping other timelines from being created. Only severing the link from the "sacred timeline" to the others and keeping it isolated. This makes sense if there's a mastermind like Kang who wants to maintain control and fears interference from the others.

According to the MCU time travel theory, one can't change their present by changing the past, Loki could inform his past self of his demise but that would create another timeline where Loki survives but it would change the original timeline.....if I understood it correctly...
How to fix Steve Rodgers. Simply say he too had a run in with the TVA who after a Trial gave him a rare chance to go back and live when there's technically another him Cryo-Frozen in a Glacier.. You CANNOT say they were able to put him on the Main timeline when he's technically already alive then. That would be a separate timeline. Its impossible for Steve not to effect the timeline. Even being late could create a timeline and he's a person who shouldn't exist effecting the timeline. He must of been sworn to not change any History. Not even Bucky...If he did Peggy, his children and everyone else would be erased. Having the TVA can fix alot of Endgames problems. (Hell, That coulda been what the "You See" meant to Cap when Tony warned him about messing with time.) Because they can put u back where u were maybe Tony had a run in too when he made those 2 or 3 extra jumps after the Hawkeye test.
I suspected that Loki survive just like Classic Loki said he would by the same trick since Episode 2 when Loki described to the TVA that his illusions were strong enough to him to perfectly mimic his own biological life to perfection. I’m hoping that the Loki that we’re seeing in the series, Becomes the Loki from the original MCU either by slipping into the Timeline and living out the personal growth of the Loki in the MCU and fakes his “death” and hides from the TVA with Lady Loki, until they’re ready to re-emerge in the Marvel MCU. Or maybe MCU Loki does really die, but this Varient Loki takes his place with Lady Loki after some time spent hidden after episode 6!
When I saw Endgame, I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't Tony Stark who stole the stones from Thanos for the final snap but Loki in his armour and that Stark is on life support in one of those survival pods from Agent of Shield, buried under the rubble. His interference would explain how all the Avengers survived Thanos' initial bombardment. But I'm pretty sure that snap killed him. A ballancing of the scales.
I love both the Variant Loki from the TV series and MCU Loki, but I feel like MCU Loki is actually dead since the MCU follows the sacred timeline. While he could have done the same thing Classic Loki did, it would be hard to have him return to the MCU with our Variant Loki also likely joining the main timeline after the Loki series ends. Having two Identical Loki’s would end up being confusing to more casual fans who don’t really watch all MCU material. It also is probably annoying and expensive to do which is probably why President Loki had so little screen time, and why he was the only Loki who looked identical to ours.
What if Loki did the same trick and later went on to take over the TVA. The reason our Loki exists is because of the Avengers loosing the Teseract. So OG Loki survived Thanos. Drifted in space and landed on what was left of Asgard. Time plays out as we know with OG Loki pulling the strings at the TVA but to guarantee his survival he makes sure that the Loki from the series can't interfer and erase his timeline.

I have been saying it after watching the last episode. Loki is alive and the big bad in the series. Sylvie will betray the Variant Loki we have been following. The loki for the main time line is alive and this is how they bring him back.
Just have loki get put back in his normal timeline, and with the knowledge from classic loki he’ll make an illusion because he knows how he dies. The TVA doesn’t exist so he can get anyway with it
An alternate version of Loki survived infinity war. Not the one we know from that movie. I don’t think there’s any way that that Loki survived, especially since in the TVA Loki’s video tape ran out once Thanos killed him.

Epi 5 confirms two things... 1. The Loki that died in THE DARK WORLD was an illusion. 2. The Loki that died in INFINITY WAR was an illusion. And strongly suggests that his death in EPI 5 may also have been faked. Epi 5 also suggests that thete may be a number of active Lokis in the main timeline when all is said and done.

ive said it all along he lived, if you look closely in the background when he is getting choked out, you can see someone off in the distance standing on debri in the background of the ship, after he gets choked out and dies, the person standing there watching turns and walks off, i always wondered if it was part of the crew who got caught in the scene of if it was loki, hiding casting a manifestation of himself like he always seems to do, and in loki episode 5 he does say he even fooled the mad titan himself, so id dare say i was right now.
I can already see it, when the trailer for Thor love and thunder releases, Loki will come back and Thor’s jaw will drop! Lol

The fact Cap was able to be with Carter meant the TVA was taken down and that Cap could travel through the multiverse.
I mean the multiverse is real. But the TVA mentioned that the avengers traveling through time was always supposed to happen. So Cap going back to be with carter was also supposed to happen with that logic.

This theory actually does make sense. Think about it, variant Loki learns of his demise, and hopefully towards the end of the series, he meets his future self, explains to him what happens, thus saving modern Loki and variant Loki being the one who dies instead. I think this should happen, seeing how Loki could play a major role in Multiverse Of Madness, modern Loki understands and the timeline remains intact and unaltered. This feels like this should absolutely happen
One question. When Thor was picked up by the guardians in space, Thor didn't seem too concerned about his dead brothers body just floating around space, wouldn't he have requested for the guardians to retrieve his body?
I think the fact that Loki's life filed "ended" just means that the TVA is ultimately flawed, and it is possible to fool them. After all, Kang is just a man.

I've said a diffrent universe or timeline Tony could be brought in to bring back iron man or even other dead characters, but with different personality ect.... it would be a cool thing to do with many great scenes between him and og Tonys friends and family as well as his machines like Jarvis. Bringing in a new Tony who is just as smart but does not have the same personality would not undermine Tonys sacrifice. Kinda like the Loki here or the Harrison wells in the flash all feel diffrent.
I thought a diffrent universe Tony coming to main universe to warn Reed Richards about the coming threat of Galactus would be cool. During the last moment of that Tonys earth, him and reed were working on a way to stop galactus. But they fail and Tony with his suit was the only one that could save the work they put into it and sent Tony to a diffrent universe where he hunts down the fantastic 4 and reed to continue their work to stop galactus. Of course this would be after the first Fantastic 4 movie with doom so that there first introduction is not taking down galactus lol. I was thinking this could also be a young Tony if RDJ does not want to come back, and he could be Reed Richards prodigy/assistant/student ect... of sorts.

I think it would make sense for TVA Loki to take his “proper” place in the timeline again back in 2012, but now armed with the knowledge of what plays out and more powerful abilities. This way he can do what Classic Loki did when the time comes and perhaps even play some “tricks” in the timeline to correct some issues.

Not sure anyone has mentioned this but, during the series, Loki makes it a point to explain the differences between creating an illusion of himself versus creating a physical copy of himself. This would explain why Thanos was able to put his hands on Loki without passing through him. No time travel required.

In the series Loki said that Loki never dies. I believe every Loki variants don’t get killed by Thanos, they do the same way the classic Loki did and they fooled the TVA because the TVA didn’t even realize that classic Loki was out there until he left the planet, the TVA thought Lokis were supposed to die but they just don’t, they hide in the planet and don’t cause any nexus event.
This could be possible. I remember New Rockstars touching on this theory so who knows.

Where in the MCU does it say Loki is right handed? I assumed he was ambidextrous, he is a god. We also see the our variant Loki wielding two daggers in episode 3. Loki's illusion only being left handed is a silly theory.

OMG, yes please! Loki's death NEVER EVER sat right with me. The entire thing felt WRONG. Loki isn't stupid enough to try to stab Thanos so half-assedly. It enraged me & I never accepted it. The whole thing felt very out of character for him, even if he was turning over a new hero leaf or not.

Watch the series end with Loki goin back to new york, standing in the lobby of avengers tower, and as he picks up the tesseract, he hands it to Thor instead of escaping. I wanna see Loki wink at the camera before the credits roll.
How will he do that? The timeline was pruned so something if not a lot of things have probably changed in the timeline and there could even be another loki in that timelime to replace the variant loki.

No one seems to be asking, what if they aren't stopping other timelines from being created. Only severing the link from the "sacred timeline" to the others and keeping it isolated. This makes sense if there's a mastermind like Kang who wants to maintain control and fears interference from the others.

According to the MCU time travel theory, one can't change their present by changing the past, Loki could inform his past self of his demise but that would create another timeline where Loki survives but it would change the original timeline.....if I understood it correctly...

You CANNOT say they were able to put him on the Main timeline when he's technically already alive then. That would be a separate timeline. Its impossible for Steve not to effect the timeline. Even being late could create a timeline and he's a person who shouldn't exist effecting the timeline.
He must of been sworn to not change any History. Not even Bucky...If he did Peggy, his children and everyone else would be erased.
Having the TVA can fix alot of Endgames problems.

I suspected that Loki survive just like Classic Loki said he would by the same trick since Episode 2 when Loki described to the TVA that his illusions were strong enough to him to perfectly mimic his own biological life to perfection.
I’m hoping that the Loki that we’re seeing in the series, Becomes the Loki from the original MCU either by slipping into the Timeline and living out the personal growth of the Loki in the MCU and fakes his “death” and hides from the TVA with Lady Loki, until they’re ready to re-emerge in the Marvel MCU.
Or maybe MCU Loki does really die, but this Varient Loki takes his place with Lady Loki after some time spent hidden after episode 6!
When I saw Endgame, I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't Tony Stark who stole the stones from Thanos for the final snap but Loki in his armour and that Stark is on life support in one of those survival pods from Agent of Shield, buried under the rubble. His interference would explain how all the Avengers survived Thanos' initial bombardment. But I'm pretty sure that snap killed him. A ballancing of the scales.
I love both the Variant Loki from the TV series and MCU Loki, but I feel like MCU Loki is actually dead since the MCU follows the sacred timeline. While he could have done the same thing Classic Loki did, it would be hard to have him return to the MCU with our Variant Loki also likely joining the main timeline after the Loki series ends. Having two Identical Loki’s would end up being confusing to more casual fans who don’t really watch all MCU material. It also is probably annoying and expensive to do which is probably why President Loki had so little screen time, and why he was the only Loki who looked identical to ours.

The reason our Loki exists is because of the Avengers loosing the Teseract.
So OG Loki survived Thanos. Drifted in space and landed on what was left of Asgard.
Time plays out as we know with OG Loki pulling the strings at the TVA but to guarantee his survival he makes sure that the Loki from the series can't interfer and erase his timeline.
Whether a marvel character survives or not has more to do with actor contracts, $$$, and people politics in Hollywood. Not logic.

I have been saying it after watching the last episode. Loki is alive and the big bad in the series. Sylvie will betray the Variant Loki we have been following. The loki for the main time line is alive and this is how they bring him back.
Just have loki get put back in his normal timeline, and with the knowledge from classic loki he’ll make an illusion because he knows how he dies. The TVA doesn’t exist so he can get anyway with it

An alternate version of Loki survived infinity war. Not the one we know from that movie. I don’t think there’s any way that that Loki survived, especially since in the TVA Loki’s video tape ran out once Thanos killed him.
Does the variant need to save his future self if he now knows and is armed with the knowledge that he can man make an illusion to survive his encounter with Thanos?
Epi 5 confirms two things...
1. The Loki that died in THE DARK WORLD was an illusion.
2. The Loki that died in INFINITY WAR was an illusion.
And strongly suggests that his death in EPI 5 may also have been faked.
Epi 5 also suggests that thete may be a number of active Lokis in the main timeline when all is said and done.
