- Hey everyone, had a hoot prank calling these fake IRS scammers. They weren't too happy with me after I trolled them incessantly.

The scam: Someone claiming to be with the IRS or from the "Criminal Investigation Department" of the IRS will call and say
that the police will arrest you or you will go to jail if you don't pay them a certain amount right away. They'll say they have
"allegations" or a "lawsuit" against your name or account and that you need to go to a Western Union/Moneygram to wire an officer or department the money. It's all a complete scam of course. The IRS will never call out of the blue. Screw these scammers!

I find it very bizarre how anyone can possibly fall for this. Like...there are SO many give away signs. The bad English, the strange process of "Don't hang up while you drive to a bank to make a deposit to an account I am telling about in a phone call"; the lack of any document; the request to "not involve a third party". Seriously...it is unbelievable for me that someone would fall for that!

+Luiz Sarchis you'd be surprised. These scammers prey on elderly people who don't really know any better. Last year, IRS and loan scams fleeced over 14 million dollars from america, canada, and australia. They are the worst.

Even just small numbers, say 5mins per call, 12 calls per hour. If they work 18hrs n these ppl do lol that's 216 calls a day, 1512 a week.... If every 250 calls gets one "sucker" that still works out to like 6 ppl who fall for their bullshit.... Then realize they work in offices of 1000s of workers, this isn't mentioning their culture n "work ethic" lmao :P

Someone needs to call them and say their bank is 2 hours away, and after 2 hours if they're still on the line tell them you got stopped by the FBI and that they need to talk to whoever you were talking with and then get someone to act like the FBI. Maybe it'll give them a scare xD

Awoke in some random person's house, ate all their left over pizza and started watching these videos. Some random chick came out of a room and yelled "Who the fuck keeps calling tech support!?"
This made my day, as soon as he said chank I wanted to punch him in the face, so messing with them just made me smile!

It's a global problem, these scam callers. Interesting how they get so abusive when they are found out, but they are the ones trying to fuck people over.
How this scam generally operates is there is a ring leader in US who owns the bank account . He sets up the call centres in call centre countries like India , Pakistan ,etc or in US itself .Then this is what happens next .....

If you ever take up running, jogging, even power walking, you should request forest gump to accompany you as he seems to draw a crowd. Harder to target you that way and if that somehow fails call Carl Childers and ask him to bring a sling blade or lawnmower blade. That should cover every angle.

Publicise these scammers' phone number so that hundreds of us from all over the world can make life a misery for them. I feel sorry for the elderly Indian gentleman who ran a grocery store we patronised many years ago; he was helpful, kind and gentle. It's a travesty that the likes of he should suffer from the negative spin-off of the intense dislike of Indians in general these internet thieves generate in profusion.

You know, when I talk to Customer Service anywhere, I do this funny little thing, where I ask for a native English speaking representative. I think that as an American, I deserve that, and it's usually not a big deal. I think everyone should do this. And I believe it would help a lot with scammers.
I honestly just refuse to speak with people regarding my business that have a heavy accent. I need to be able to understand them completely, and unfortunately that's usually not possible.

I was scammed once ! almost went to jail cuz it was so well done , the cops almost took me . I received a check in the mail , many years ago , my friend thought it was real, even the bank teller was fooled , good thing the cop had a cell phone , she called the guy and told him she was tracing the call and that his local law enforcement was on their way to collect him and relocate him to a 8x5 cell. it was funny but scary .

I actually got a call similar to this and received deaths threats and countless calls from them saying they have my address and ip loll.
These people get confused when they deviate from their script because their English is so bad yet they're enough clueless people to keep the scammers in business.
