- Christians are called to be people of the truth-not people of “my truth” or “your truth.” But in a world where the existence of universal truth is called into question, it can be difficult to maintain our commitment to the reality of universally binding truth, let alone declare that it is found in Christ and His Word. In this message, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey looks at some of the false understandings of truth in our culture, the difficulty of standing for the truth, and the call for us to stand firm on Christ as He is revealed in God’s Word.

It has always been Christ is King or man is king. I am a citizen of the City of God in one of many cities of men. We must answer this question as we are in 1984. "Who has your heart and mind?" Civilizations rise and fall, but G-d remains. Where do you place your loyalties?
Dr. Godfrey, great Historian, Man of God, Man Believing Jesus is Truth. Beautiful Book written - Blessed Hope - Doctoral lectures series, Ligonier Ministries Respected loved by all fellows and respect as a fellow among fellows - Masters in Theology. Truth guiding us in The Way, The Life and the Truth. Cannot separate state from church when tyranny rules. R.C. Sproul expounds upon - his inclusion of 1984, the political lies we have been told. When tyranny rules, responsibility is necessary, Holy Scripture. The disciples fought against the Roman politico and fought for Christ. satan hates God, he hates Christians. he came to rob, destroy and kill. Ligonier is dedicated to Truth of Christ. We believed Christ, His Truth. Fellowship in Truth of the Christ. Christ is King. “Jesus told us the Truth. To unite us, consecrated to live the life we are called to live. Called to God’s Purpose. The promised to trust life in whole in Him forever”. So boldly told today by Dr. Godfrey. All the Glory to Jesus God Incarnate, Holy Ghost. God Trinity. Amen ♥️✝️♥️

What nonsense for Dr. Godfrey to state that
"it does not matter who we vote vote for".
As a historian, an American Christian leader,
Godfrey certainly has a blind spot as to the spirit of the age.
Godfrey is a democrat.🫤
The two party system is an illusion of choice… The Jews were looking for a political messiah to save them and were blinded when the real messiah came…they crucified Him. The same stands for today there’s no political savior, just false idols. There is one savior and that is our Lord Jesus Christ.

@timcummiskey1178, You missed the point. This world system means nothing. It cannot ever help us. Only Christ & His Kingdom is our salvation. No system that man comes up with can help us. So it does not matter about Democrat or Republican. Both are evil man made. None of it matters. Only Christ is King. And only His Kingdom will stand. Do not worship at the altar of this world system. Or any of the evil men in the world's system.
I am not a democrat....I am not a republican......or a baptist, roman catholic, anglical or any other grouped person.....I am a singular entity and of myself am and admit to being a SINNER....maybe no one else wants to admit this Truth but I do a knowledge God's Truth that I am a SINNER....THAT IS MY STARTING PLACE AND I FOLLW JESUS FROM THAT PLACE, ALBEIT MISERABLY I FAIL HIM, BUT HE NEVER FAILS ME. Sinners come in every political, religious and so called racial group. Wake up to the Truth my fellow SINNERS. If you are not a SINNER, disregard all the above as it pleases you and best of luck with all that......
