- Maximum Football is a new college football game. It is only in beta now so not the full game. I create a team with their deep customization suite. I created the UGF Pandas of course. I also test out the gameplay in play now. Once the full game releases they will have Dynasty mode for CFB gameplay. Franchise mode for professional football gameplay. I give my impressions on the game in this video, but it is not a full review. You can play the game right now on steam. It is only available for steam right now

@@rrion they can announce whatever game modes they like, it doesnt mean the customization options and such will be good. Ive been burned so many times by EA and Madden, i respect yall for trusting them, but i dont. We will see when it releases.

Like there are games where player count is heavily bolstered by customization/appearance stuff. Like transmog in WoW. It's huge and people will spend dozens of hours getting certain looks and appearances. It's just seems like an easy an straightforward crowd pleaser
It's far from perfect but this isn't a AAA title. There's a strong foundation for potential greatness, everyone should support this game. College and Pro franchises in a single game, that's my dream.
Fun fact: the original two Doug flutie maximum football games were made by three people While this game is going to be made by a whole team which is why everything looks to be tremendously improve which can't wait to see what they can do to improve it more where it could be in the levels of Madden quality but has gameplay factors that better than Madden
Its not a whole team, they just have more funding to hire people. The coding is still a small amount
It's also now recoded on the unreal engine.
The game sucks, same stuff from years ago. Customization can't beat bad gameplay
@@youngtrill9745 I've been modding Madden gameplay for years, and played the Maximum football beta. To program a complex game like football is very difficult...I know from personal experience. So from my perspective, I was very impressed at what they have done so far, with only a few developers.

For an open beta I thought it was pretty solid
Same here with some improvements to the throw on the run animation I could easily get into this
I’m honestly hoping they work out those gameplay issues because there’s a lot of potential here. I’ll definitely be playing this alongside CFB 25

Maybe this will "encourage" a PC port of College Football 25 or future College Football games (hopefully) if it gets good enough!

I like that you can actually throw the ball into a tight spot, it never feels like that in madden

I mod Madden on the discord as Snowballpudi...That issue i fixed by simply speeding up the ball velocity. I don't know why EA don't correct these issues that we as modders have to do. It baffles me.

You can throw on the move if you are not committing to the scramble button. Think espn 2k5 logic. You can opt to scramble at any time but to throw you have to exit scramble mode and then throw.
The gameplay is decent but lacking because of bugs and lack of variation in animations, which the version they have has already fixed. And hey its a free game

I played the old game from 2019 and when I saw you played it we had the same complaints and I’m impressed and proud of what they did with it
Not the expert first of all congratulations on the marriage. Second of all you are not the only one when it comes to customization in a video game because I am a sucker when it comes to that creating my own team or school and push them to greatness is what I always love to do. And third of all I can't wait for this game to come out but I can't wait for them to improve upon this game and make it something incredible where they can use it and build it up to the top of being a alternative towards Madden or even college football if those games doesn't achieve
I think for college 25 you should tell the dev team that’s it would be a cool idea to add the weather app so for example if we’re in a game and it’s sunny but in the 3 quarter it starts to rain and before games you can look at the weather to see what’s going to happened on that day but I don’t know if it would be hard to code but I think it’s a cool idea
You will be able to import your own logos. Devs already confirmed. You can also upload logos to a community creations like screen too
I honestly had fun customizing all the teams in the last maximum football and making the NCAA. This looks like I could really spend time on it and have a lot of fun! And actually enjoy playing on the field more too

Good on them for giving it a red hot crack and succeeding with some major upgrades. Free to play is exciting and im very excited to give it a go when the full game comes out

The beta was honestly pretty solid but they were open & honest about alot of the things that weren't 100%. It played pretty decently & I'm ready for the full build

If cfb 25 doesn’t do good I’d recommend this game to people
I hope for the rosters to be sorta like Legend Bowl's rosters. It was fun finding characters similar to movie characters or parody players to the original players
I’ve played the beta on my channel as well. The customization is definitely the best part of it! The gameplay needs some work still though. Like when I would ball swat the ball didn’t even touch the player’s hand!
stupid idea. Drew, you should play College Football 25 with a 'NTE All-Star Roster'. Basically, take the greatest players from all of your teams and play with them. The dominance would be epic as all your icons gel together

The visuals remind me of backbreaker. On an unrelated note i have to laugh that the Rocky Mountain conference actually exists, i wonder if the devs know that? Lol
The back of the helmet looked like a speed flex and it kept throwing me off
The glowing purple helmet could be used as an alternate in the future for the pandas

I had similar thoughts after playing it the other day. its a solid base for a beta if they can smoothen out some animations and get rid of the logo after every play it has potential. a couple gripes I had with it was on the d line it never felt like you could do anything to get off a block and it felt like jukes spins and trucks just don't do anything. one thing I do disagree with you on is the rushing I actually got a pretty good rush offense going in the games I played
This creation is mint I love customization especially when it’s this in depth
My only complaint with the UGF Pandas dynasty is that you put my Alma Mater BYU in the Sunbelt! But true legends won’t forget when Tony Romo retired from football in 2012 and became one of the greatest college football coaches ever! 🐐

I think the same development team making this game is also in the early stages of creating a varsity high school football game that looks very promising

If a game comes out with imperfections like this I'd gladly take it over EA. Some refinement for sure, tighten up the movement and all that but overall if this was a whole game it looks like it'd be really fun.

While im definitely going to be grinding the hale out of cfb 25, i will say as a free to play game if this comes out on xbox id definitely give it a try for the customization alone

A contract with the UFL would shoot this game into the stratosphere. That would be so much fun.
Licensing would severely limit the main selling point of the team creator. Full PC release will have the ability to upload your own images, not just team logos but patches and all. You can make any league you want, why limit it to just one?
The one thing I hope they do that would set this game above all others, since they have both college and professional, would be to simulate them both side by side. So if you're playing a college team you can watch your players get drafted then watch them play in the professional league and see how they do.

I wish I could try this out. But for some reason when I get into the game my controller is not connecting. It's a Dualshock 4. I've tried launching it from Big Picture mode in Steam, having it show as a XBOX controller, as well as try to disconnect and reconnect in the game, but nothing works. It's a shame because I'd love to try and get a feel for this game. Having both a college and professional option for Dynasty or Franchise seems incredibly impressive so I hope it works out.

Can UGF Pandas, Rocket City Moon Men, and DVSU Desert Dogs players get drafted to "The League" you customize so all their stories can continue before some went of to become coaches. Because I'd watch the hell out of that.
