you should retitle the video to something such as "Mountain Lions and Mountain Quails in OC" because when I clicked on this video I totally had no idea there was a hidden gem at the end!
* The coyote definitely caught a "domestic" cat of some sort. Replayed it several times to confirm. * The bobcat is a very young one; likely just left its mother from the look of it. Beautiful! * Quail at the end is gorgeous 😍
@@joannehuttenhoff2701 The video I have is of a Mountain Lion very young I'd say maybe 13 months old. Barley old enough to disperse from momma cougar. That was probably same cat. I'll share video of the cat I got on camera soon!
Did not know we had mountain quail here....very cool
Great job!

Hi Jason. Met you out on Indian Potrero today while riding my horse. Was the video of the coyote carrying the cat from the San Mateo Wilderness??
Yes it was unfortunately. Nice meeting you and glad you and your restless horse made it home safely.
@@jasonbear1336 an RC resident reported seeing a young Mountain Lion while driving through the oaks about a week ago or so.

Great video as always! Any idea what the coyote toward the beginning has in its mouth?
Looked like someone’s pet to me, right?
Yeah it was a cat. I'm not sure if it was a wild feral cat or not.
@@mw_nippa5447 Yeah unfortunately it could be.
