I just bought this PC and a separate GeForce rtx 3060 graphics card as a Christmas gift for my son... I had no clue how to install the card... Its literally minutes before Xmas day... I watched this video and it gave the most simple instructions for the graphic card install. You saved my Christmas. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
It worked well... I had to reset the BIOS on the APU 2 weeks after installing the RTX 3060... I don't know how to do that... I'm very happy to report that NZXT has the best customer service... I watched my son play COD and noticed an intermittent delay... My son called NZXT the next morning... NZXT walked him through everything and taught him about the process along the way... Great company with a great culture.
Can you explain how it plays games like gta v, I am thinking about buying a pic for Christmas without going crazy on the budget, and since next is a very safe option, I was thinking about this
@@francisconunes1844 GTA V, 1080p, medium setting, vsync off, reduced shadow detail to medium and I was getting a steady 45-65 fps...I know that's low but it was very playable. Star Wars Squadrons 1080p medium settings 70-80 fps, Madden NFL 21 50-60 fps. very little tearing, very playable experiences.
NZXT about 15 years ago was hot garbage. And that was when they just made cases. It's amazing to see them actually doing pre-builts. I had a Core2 build I did using one of their cases and it lasted about 2 weeks before it started falling apart.
I got a build with a 5600G + 16GB 8x2 3200mhz + 240SSD + 1TB HDD with a B450M in a bundle with keyboard mouse and a monitor for £650 which is about 710$~
hey i know another game that would be good for your benchmarks. Star Wars the Old Republic can run really well because when I had a 2gb gpu on my dell inspiron it ran really well at 1080p. It should run really well on a apu. Also nice duel channel ram. Most starter prebuilds dont do that

Not a terrible PC by any means, but you can make a build for about $850, with a rx 6500 xt, so there is definitely still a reason to make it yourself. About a $200 difference between the BLD and building it yourself just doesn't seem worth it to me.
When do you guys think the GPU market will get better? 2024 or possibly sooner? I'll wait as long as it takes or eventually give in to paying more, whichever overwhelms me first.

Cryptomining became huge these last five years, and that has been a big contributor to the GPU shortage. Scalping with bots became huge as well since many brick-and-mortar stores shifted to online sales to compete with Amazon. Trump's attempts to curb the CCP's growth by tacking on tariffs to imported Chinese goods also contributed, since China is the #1 silicon exporter in the world. China (and the rest of the world) forcibly shutting down their factories due to covid also created a large backlog that never fully recovered. The supply chain crisis may get better within the next two years, but there's a lot of forces at work on the computer market. In fact, things may get even worse if China invades Taiwan since Taiwan is one of our largest exporters of computer chips.
The "UD" on Gigabytes boards means "ultra durable" I'm not sure what that refers to though. Even though I own one. Motherboard manuals (pdf only on mine) aren't exactly as comprehensive as they were compared to the last motherboard I owned in the Bronze Age (2013)

This sounds like a pretty bad deal tbh, 800USD for a basic APU set up that can't even run low resource entry level esport games at 60fps. They aren't ripping you off, but it's not a good deal.

For example the witcher 3, rust, control, tomb raider, rdr2, etc, all run around 30-45fps at best on low-medium 1080p. This rig is getting performance similar to a gtx 1050-1650, which is not bad at all but for the price, abit iffy especially now going into 2022. Unless youre only planning on playing esport or mobas titles like fortnite or csgo, league, etc i wouldnt buy this at $850+ ( after tax/shipping) Like theyve said, its not ripping you off but isnt a good deal either. Building a rig with for example a used 970 for around $200 while adding in for example a 3600-5600 or intel equivalent would make so much more sense while getting more than 2x the performance for 3/4 the price of this apu build.
yeah, this 5600g cost around 300$ on the market so the extra 500 for case, psu, ram, motherboard and ssd it's not reasonable. for 900ish you can get pc with i5 10400f and gtx1660 super, a much more powerfull gpu
True. If you're building a budget gaming rig, just go with cheap case, mobo, PSU, drives - midrange ram, box cooler. The apu doesn't need much cooling or power so they save you a lot across the board. They have their place in that world, but this isn't it.
I believe the main component to worry about for VR would be looking for something about a 1080ti+ graphics card from Nvidia, I'm not sure how their cards do on their own brand though. imo though, if it can run games normally like the ones they're playing then there could be a large chance at it having VR available.

i ordered the specific parts to my pc and it costed 750$ and it runs so good way better than the prebuilt

i get 60-80fps 1080p on apex with all low settings with my 5600g, what you have to do is set the minimum framerate to 60 and it will run alot smoother

you can use your apu and gpu at the same time...i use mine for like discord and youtube on my 3rd monitor
BuildProPC has better prices, build quality, and customer service. If you are buying a prebuilt I would reccomend them over NZXT.
