    Love the under-lighting under the A-Liner! First time I noticed it. Thanks for sharing...........

      Ya, They were just like $20 for 8 lights and I just screwed them to the bottom. and ran the wiring to the convertor. Fun, they work off an app of course.

    Rick, do you have a video on how (and maybe why) you installed the critter lights under the Aliner? Did you ever have critter problems? There are some amazing lakeside spots at that campground! Did you use you Aliner's furnace; how did it work? Did you have to use additional insulation items, like pipe-wrap to help seal up the the side walls? I have a LOT of questions for you about Winter camping in an Aliner... maybe you could address some of those items in your next video?

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  Рік тому +1

      The furnace has worked when I plan to use it. Usually when it won't light its because I didn't turn on the propane. I have taken it all apart and cleaned and aligned it, video in the works, but not finished. I do use it frequently for a few minutes. And the lights are the results of finding (the dogs finding) skunks under the camper 3 times. More in the January10th Video

    You must've come to our little town on a Sunday, that's Thomson for ya!!! The campground is a beautiful area and if you ever make it back this way try Raysville campground on Lincolnton Hwy right before the bridge. There are more camping spots around Clarks Hill just got to find them, lol. 😊

    Lake Harwell has several nice campgrounds. We reserved a group site near the dam. Was surprised how clean and quiet the lake is. After being at Lake Lanier with loud speedboats and 2-stroke oil floating in the water, it was real nice.
    Miss my GSD, give Akeila a belly rub from be.

    That's a pretty campground, big sites. Beautiful lake. Always a lil difficult getting a spot in the spring and summer months. Two other nice county ran parks are Blythe, and Andersonville, and a private one in Meriwether. Andersonville, is walking distance to town. Drummer Boy Museum is there, and a couple other things to see. Really well done small museum. Akela wouldn't be able to run off a leash in Blythe, too many permanent resident bunnies. Meriwether is on a lake, small campground, and peaceful. Happy New Year!! 🙂👍🎇

    Wow! That is a great campground. Love how so many sites are all at the water and they are spaced so nicely. The drone has a temperature limit but you and Akela were out there getting a beautiful and informative video for us! Had to laugh when the blue ball tossing stick became a pointing tool. Yep, good campers have a dual use for everything.

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  Рік тому +1

      Yes, when the drone won't work I was wondering if Maybe I should reconsider...lol. But it was okay, even hiking around at night it wasn't really too cold. Have a great New Years Day!

    30 bucks a night. Little to much for me being 1 person paying the bill. Thanks for the info. Happy New Year! Well now that I saw the lakefront lot 30 bucks isn't that bad for a day or 2.

    Love Akela! We have a GSD who we want to be more comfortable in campgrounds. It can be a struggle with other campers in sight; he barks and growls. Akela seems to be ok with that. how about a video on how to train your dog to be comfortable in a campground? Might be a super popular topic!

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  Рік тому

      I have a whole playlist on training your puppy to be confident and well mannered. But most people aren't going to really communicate strong enough to their dog about what is acceptable and what isn't. I hard slap and loud "NO" can go a long way in letting your dog know that is unacceptable behaviour.

    I95 and I20. How would the traffic be in the Fall and early Spring? Is it just part of living in the Carolinas and on the Coast? I40 to get into the mountains, right? It sure is a pretty campground. Thank you for the video.

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  Рік тому +1

      I-95 is full of trucks and people going 90mph. I-20 isn't bad. I love the US highways, they are mostly 4 lane divided and very sparce with traffic, and very few trucks. The gas is cheaper and it takes the same time.

    Really love the campground. I wanted to recommend two ways for you to increase your viewers. 1). advertise on Pinterest. Lots of viewers there. 2). You can do lots of shorts if Akelia. People put photos of their dogs on YT shorts. Pictures or videos. Just a suggestion. I want to see you get a lot more views and subscribers….
