A. bek was being facetious. Production work is stellar. This is an outstanding video, would be appropriate for all elementary school children. Even adults. :) @@jerryarcher9489
I thoroughly enjoyed this, especially Macaw Mountain! So great to watch and feed these birds (with food that matches their colorful plumage😊) That looked like such an awesome experience!
Fantastic videos!! I'm from Guatemala and my husband is from Honduras. Thank you for sharing the amazing sites of both countries☺ Little fact about Copan....Quirigua, located in Guatemala (Izabal) was a trading post for Copan. The ruler of Quirigua killed the overlord of Copan and declared independence. Whenever you go back to Guate, you should visit Quirigua, is very small compared to the other Mayan ruins but it is one of the most important historical Mayan places having the tallest Stelae in the Mayan world. Keep up the great videos. Greetings from Florida!!!😉👋
My brother and I are learning about Honduras this week thanks for the video. And we are going to learn about Sweden next week. Have you been there? Please tell us about it.
You guys are still traveling? When do the girls go to school? It looks like the Mayans were a very sophisticated civilization. It's amazing how beautiful those birds are. People should leave them alone in their natural habitat. Awesome video!!
This video is a little too touristy for me. we lived in copan for several months in 2010 beautiful place lots to do near and far from that vantage point.
and this is why you have sweet pineapples in westernized countries and old tart pineapple in eastern block countries like nicaragua..The natural (or most common) pollinator of the pineapple is the hummingbird. Pollination is required for seed formation; the presence of seeds negatively affects the quality of the fruit. In Hawaii, where pineapple is cultivated on an agricultural scale, importation of hummingbirds is prohibited for this reason. At one time, most canned and fresh pineapples were produced on Smooth Cayenne plants. Since about 2000, the most common fresh pineapple fruit found in U.S. and European supermarkets is a low-acid hybrid that was developed in Hawaii in the early 1970s. Del Monte took 73-114, from hawaii research which it dubbed MD-2, to its plantations in Costa Rica, found it to be well-suited to growing there, and launched it publicly in 1996. it returned to hawaii in about 2000 and replaces hawaiis old pineapples
Question. We're going to San Pedro Sula for a wedding this coming January, 3rd week. My wife and I have been to the visit three Maya cities in the Yucatan. We are going to Copan, sadly with only a two days there. - We don't speak Spanish. Do you? - Are we going to have problems finding people in Copan who speak English?
We speak enough Spanish to get by. Since they have many tourists who visit, you should be able to manage with a bit of Spanglish. I'm sure you'll be just fine. Enjoy!
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders We are heading there in a couple of weeks. How safe is the water to drink? Everyone tells me to Not drink the water, Don't brush one's teeth using the water etc etc. What's your story about the water, and restaurant food cooked in the water?
