Good lookin' knife. I haven't followed the current data, but i remember there was lack of clarity about the optimal HRC number for magnacut, all things being equal (which they rarely are of course). When i left off, people seemed to think it was between 62 and 64. I imagine Larin (sp?) has probably weighed in by now. If your heat treat is good and you hit 62 it probably doesn't matter much, but i guess i was wondering if everyone came to a general consensus on a max number.
@@dylanemeraldgrey theres a pretty large jump in edge retention at 63 from what i remember. Tougher at 62. Ill probably run some at different hardnesses and test them
