- I updated the IPAdapter extension for ComfyUI. It's a complete code rewrite so unfortunately the old workflows are not compatible anymore and need to be rebuilt. Sorry about that but I don't have time to maintain old code.

Thanks for the rewrite! I love having the extra customization to make the outputs interesting and cool, so this helps a ton. Really appreciate the work you're putting into this.
I was so confused about the lack of options for XL models in the universal loader, but I am so relieved that it is automagically handled (:D). Thank you very much for taking the time to explain all the new changes. This extension is game changing!
My thought process: Soon as I performed the update and my old workflows broke I was frustrated for about two minutes, then realized the nodes must be updated, and in that case it must be a pretty big update if they've been reworked, I loaded the new ones and saw new inputs I didn't entirely understand yet, decided to get some rest and look forward to the excellent new video that was sure to be coming (faster than expected!). You did not disappoint sir, thanks for all the outstanding work you are doing for the community!
Lucky you lol. My thought process: Hmm whats changed? Lets update ComfyUI, Lets Update All, Lets do a reboot (lol), Lets reinstall IPAdapter, Lets install a portable version of comfy to see if it works ok there, lets go ask in random discords to see if anyone else has the issue....and then, I find out the news lol. Frustrating that I had to spend all that time this morning but as Mateo says, it can't be helped. As I have paid a grand total of Zero so far on any generative ai tools, I won't bother asking to speak to the manager lol. It happens.
Every time I watch your videos, I am amazed by what you offer us and how simple you make it sound when you explain it to us. You're great! Keep doing what you do!

PSA: If you did not rename the clip vision model files to their names as shown in the git repo, the plug-in will complain that it can't find them.
I spent some time debuggin why the simple loader does not work. It was about the name of the clip vision model.

Thank you! By the way, the little one name is “CLIP-ViT-H-14-laion2B-s32B-b79K.safetensors”,big one is "CLIP-ViT-bigG-14-laion2B-39B-b160k.safetensors"
you would think that he would make it so that it would automatically download whatever model you need. not just for clip, but for all of them.

There's certainly a lot of new information to take in, but it's certainly worth it. This is a big improvement over the old version.
I think I will mostly be using the tiled version, as I rarely work with perfectly square images anyways.

Same here, I thought I was loosing my mind sins the nodes I got are different from the ones every single video and tutorial I was able to find.

'automagically' that is a great way to describe - very much appreciate the simplicity of the unified loader but still gives high level of workflow flexibility. This is now my favourite way of generating images using reference photos/images.
