I think there a name for nameblindness and faceblindness, it a real sickness btw. I too good at remember face but almost never remember name, I remember like 10-20 names of my friend thru out all my time in school and collage, so I know well about can't remember people name
There was a friend I saw every year, but for 3 years I couldn't recognize her for the life of me. Everytime we met I'd just stare at her thinking "she looks familiar..." then our other friends laugh and reintroduce her to me lol. By the 4th year I was more confident, unfortunately I moved away in the 5th year.
