I saw her younger sister play Maria at the OPRF high school production of West Side Story - while she was making her Broadway debut with the same role. Her sister was amazing, too. She looked very much like Mary Elizabeth.

@@jedijones I was under contract with Universal Studios in 2000 and 2001 as a commercial M U A I I think ther were about 5 of us MUA’s and Hair Stylists .so there was always a couple of us available at any given time . If an actor or and director was in town for a movie release etc Universal were getting them into the Studios to film them discussing their carreers . I think they were for archive or for stuff like DVD extras.but It was a nice team . I normally get on with everyone but I always remember people when they are friendly and or funny, or that I can have a conversation with .Im sure you know many people arrive with an entourage 🤨 I remember Mary Elizabeth arriving alone , having Fabulous Skin, and chatting like we were old pals.
She sang this on Broadway in West Side Story in the 80's....where she was discovered by Brian DePalma...he wanted to put her in his next movie with Al Pacino playing her brother....

She's not obligated to like any of her roles at all really tho for a decent amount that was their first time seeing her and she herself brought more to the movie making it not just a violent film which so many see it as without ever really watching it.
