I shoot a catapult with a floating anchor described behind my head. With my thumb pointed toward the ground. So when I shoot a pickle fork and use the same floating anchor . So shooting with my thumb toward the ground.I can't turn it to the left but I can turn it to the right like you said with that still work

Just FYI, PF's are probably the easiest slingshots to make. I mean just look at the one in the vid - very simple shape, very little material. Why not make your own? :P
Isn’t there a little more to it? Two other dude’s videos said you need to create a sort of “chaotic” release where you counterintuitively do a sort of improper release. Simple shot guy calls it the speed bump effect. The other guy said to rotate and also tweak the pouch a little.
Hello where did u learn to band your pickel shooters? I plan on makeing my first pickle fork soon but I have no idea how to band them or make my own bands lol! I also see u have the green band protectors but don't know how to guess the size I don't want the protectors to be to big or to small. I hope this message makes sense I clearly have no idea what I am talking about but what would u recomend for me to look into?

Www.dankung.com supply all the tubing, the ones I am using are single 1745 and the protectors are 5080. To attach it's just wrap and tuck. If you type in on UA-cam wrap and tuck it will come up :)
No thanks. I'm able to shoot my self in the hand plenty often with my TTF catapults. I think I'd rather take a hammer to my left hand than try pickle forks. I'm bleeding from a thumb hit and a hand hit as I type this. Right now it's pretty tough for me not to turn these things into kindling. I'm impressed you are able to do this and hit that can. Even more impressed you aren't hitting your hand.
+Pepa Štefan bb's are too light, which is why you are getting the hand slap, it also tends to destroy your bands faster when shooting ammo that is too light for the bands.
@@keithdighton You've made me a born again 'gangsta' shooter. BUT I discovered whilst shooting upright--keep the pouch arm elbow down-pointing to the ground Then my fork/hand hits were cured
@@jayw8306 This video converted me to 'gangsta' shooting BUT when shooting 'upright' style keep your pouch thumb pointing to the sky and elbow pointing to the ground and you'll never get a fork/hand hit

Tweek the pouch downward after the turn, and you will avoid hand guys in upright position.

Could you do this with a basic ott to avoid fork hits? I just obliterate my s-robin (snipersling) with a fork hit, dont want it to happen again.

Tube protectors. Prevents wear on the tubes and helps get the ball over the top
