    TESTIMONIALS
‘Started hitting the moves laid out in these courses the very next class...extremely uplifting to have such a quick improvement in my game’ - Houston, TX
‘I’m the only white belt in the academy doing these moves…I’m suddenly competing at a blue belt and above level…thanks Coach Tom’ - LA, California
‘Some of the best strategies you are going to see for control and submission’ - London, UK
‘The detailed way Prof Tom breaks down his moves into the absolute essentials is just next level for me. This is absolute gold‘ - Sydney, Australia
‘Most of the guys at my Academy, have about 60lbs on me, but since purchasing your ‘Kimura Attack system’ and ’14 days’ everything has changed. I feel much more confident, roll better and the guys on the mat have commented on the same. Thanks, Coach Tom’ - Dallas, TX
‘I know you have your names for your courses, but I’ve renamed them the ‘Zero to hero’ courses, I went from getting constantly owned, to now being completely dominant on the mat in no time at all’ - San Diego, California
‘I use the course material heaps, and just recently put it into action at a local comp, walked away with double gold. No one was more surprised than me! - Miami, Florida
‘As a new white belt, these classes have helped me so much, Prof Tom’s technique, the details, and his attitude. I love how Prof. Tom shows the ‘mistakes people make’ and then shows the correct way of doing things. The only one I have ever seen do this’ - New York, New York
Great videos, great instruction. I just watch them for hours…Melbourne, Australia
‘The instructional saved me big time at a recent comp, my opponent was def more experienced, but that was ok, coz I had Prof Tom’s video in my brain. Nailed it and scored gold’ - Colorado, Denver
‘All of it. Everything you show in your awesome videos are now my ‘go to techniques’. Thanks for your vids Prof, Tom’ - Houston, TX
‘You really have to watch every second of the video because Prof, Tom drops these little nuggets of gold throughout the course. And they make ALL the difference. The only one doing this. Keep them coming Professor’ - NY, New York
‘If I could only be taught from one person, Prof Tom would be it. I can’t wait to train in person one day’ - Dallas, TX
‘Went to a recent competition with these videos fresh in my mind. I knew I had an edge and the confidence this gave me was unreal. Got the gold. All submission wins! - LA, California

Awesome sir. I kind of tried this instinctively but wasn't sure how to finish, now I know :) Thanks for sharing.

If anybody sees this and is struggling, it maybe easier to slow down and go through the following steps:
    1. Go from your back to your side (using the windmill to get momentum helps) where your top knee is on top of your bottom knee.
    2. Still laying on your side, replace the your bottom kneecap with your top kneecap (pretty much just sliding your bottom leg out and letting your top leg fall into where your bottom leg was)
    3. Turn your belly to now face the ground
    4. Bring your knees to your belly quickly
    5. You should now be the position to use the short bursts to pull your arm out.
This is how my BJJ coach taught it to me and has gotten me out of a good amount of armbars from this position. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks, coach. I recently got my elbow a bit beat up on a failed hitchhiker attempt. Can’t wait to try this safer escape.

Looking at this from a striking perspective as so as she gets her arm free at 3:07 she could use that hook to spin the opponent and get in some defenseless headshots, kind of the same concept of shucking someone from a front headlock position in folk style wrestling to get to the back, this is excellent and there are so many options from that point you get your arm out, thank you

    I use this a lot.
It's great to get a hand underneath the leg first, but sometimes it doesn't happen. This still works really well for me.
    I am a big guy.

Been learning jiu jitsu since june this year, finally signed up at an academy after putting it off for way too long, at my 42 years of age I wish I would have started sooner
    This discipline is ADDICTIVE!!!
I’m going to use this technique on sunday for open mats 😬

I like this one! I already know like a dozen other escapes, didn't really need another but good to have a variety to keep your opponents guessing

How do you get out of it if the guy im grappling with is bigger and his legs just don't let that momentum from the windmill work

This is definitely a good one, but how about in gi? I find that its much harder for people to get armbars on me in no-gi when we have no-gi Wednesdays, but mostly we are in gi & they usually, instantly grab the cuff of the sleeve when stretching out like that, making that choke grab of your own arm, impossible.

Obviously an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure. Gi will always have a higher retention rate due to numerous factors

Not really an arm bar. What do you if the arm is fully extended? Cause a bar is a straight thing, her arms were bent from the beginning, thus not an arm bar.

This works if you're lying on your back. If he/she puts you in a position where you're front on your chest phew, what can we do?
