@@EvanBradleyEDB you and I are from an older school, my friend 😁 I've been trying to tell people about that philosophy all year, and they all look at me like my head is on sideways 🤣 To be fair, with how hard it is to replace say, my oldest Comet, there is some benefit to not doing it the way we used to...
@@Skamanda The more I research things in preparation for returning to the game the more I realize how much has changed and how right you are. I am also realizing that, with the number of rounds I can expect to feasibly play in a given year going forward, my days of beating in and cycling multiple copies of the same disc in base plastic may be over
Putting will be interesting for sure! I used to putt with Luna’s and things were alright. These feel a little wacky, but going to give them a serious try!
I love throwing Luna’s and supporting Paul, but I have not come around to beaded putters yet. Maybe the crystal sparkle will keep the over stable flight that most Luna’s have a hard time doing. Would be fun to play McBeth and Cease’s new course with all of Paul’s discs though.
I really want to make it to FL and try out the course! Videos I’ve seen over the years make it look awesome! I felt the same way about beaded putters, but after trying out many over the last year, I have gone from don’t like to don’t really notice.
I just found you, and I think you have the best disc reviews. I appreciate the detail-oriented approach and that you throw discs with a variety of shots. I feel like your give true reviews.
The numbers printed on the discs and Discraft’s site is 3/3/0/3. But yes still more stable than the Luna. Idk why they labelled the Luna with a 3 fade. It’s more like 0.5 or 1 fade.
Yea I didn’t see that they already have the flight numbers out, but I would put this at a fade of 1.5 for base line and 2 for CryZtal Sparkle. I never understood the 3 fade, these are not a Zone….
I remember almost 3 years ago when I found this channel. Been here ver since and the videos just keep getting better and better! Thank you for the quality!
Would have loved to throw a Kratos in the wind conditions during a tournament I played today in Austin, MN [Todd Park]. Thank you for the solid review!!
For me, it combines to torque resistance of the premium blend Envy’s but the fade of an Electron. Nice and torque resistant, but not as harsh of a fade.
This is obviously an insanely early call, but I don't think this disc will be that popular in a year or two. Generally, beaded putters are less popular, and people who like beaded putters are already using Wizards, Beaded Aviars, Judges, PA-3s, or maybe Links (btw I don't know if the Link's minor popularity will last either). I'd take this back, though, if I found out that the Hades and Fierce still sell well.
Id agree with you except for that Discraft makes 0 of the popular beaded putters you mentioned. They needed this to break into that market. While it may not be popular enough to eliminate its competitors, its an important option to offer for both pros and brand enthusiasts. It wont sell well overall but it will sell well in market, which is all discraft needs. To your last point, I also think that the hades and fierce fill far less popular bag slots. Edit: I do like the take overall tho.
@@jackriley19 Everything you're saying is eminently reasonable. Discraft's main beaded putter is the Focus, and that one's a tick deeper feeling than contemporary average preference, so makes sense for them to put out a slightly shallower beaded putter.
And the Hades & Fierce do seen to sell well. At the stores I frequent, the discs are always in rotation like other popular discs, with new ones being put out regularly.
@@euclidean1985I love my challengers for putting, but the bead is absolutely tiny compared to most other beaded putters. More of an EMac Truth bead where it’s wide but super low profile
I have limited experience with the Wizard, but the Wizard was considerably deeper and a lot more glide/floaty. Haven’t tried throwing one, but from putting experience, I feel the Kratos would be much more torque resistant.
I’m sure these will make people happy but I’ll stick with my Challengers 😊
They don't slow down and dump like the Challenger does. A bit more like a Challenger SS, but not really. The edge isn't as blunt.
@@Skamanda This is not helping me practice mold minimization! 😆

Huge discraft fan! been watching your reviews for a long time! Great content!
Thank you! 🙏
Great review video…look forward to the putting comparison

Always enjoyed your reviews!
I appreciate that!
I didnt think I would like a bead on a putter, but after a few throws, it starts to feel natural.
Right there with ya! Used to hate them, now I’m indifferent.

Welcome aboard and thank you for the kind words! 🙏
Thanks for posting this, been waiting for you to make a video on the Kratos!
Hope you enjoyed! I’m excited to try the CryZtal Sparkle, just got it in!
That flat, straight flight and tiny fade is just excellent! Thanks so much for this review.
Anytime!!!
Ive always felt like my luna was very similar to my k3 hard Reko. Now i bet Reko x is just like the kratos
Looks like it Flys very similar to my envy
I’d be interested to throw the Kratos vs the Envy. Might have to look into that this year!
interesting look!
I love how the Kratos is 3 3 0 2, and it's widely accepted that it is more overstable than the Luna even though the Luna has more fade. Haha.

I can't get into putters with a big bead on them, for those who do really like that it seems this is going to be right up their alley.
Over the last year I’ve come to enjoy beaded putters, but those were created with the bead in mind. This wasn’t and it really shows.
I'll be interested to see how Mcbeth uses the kratos in his bag.
I’m interested as well. Depending on the run, Luna can do more or less the same thing.

Thank you for the awesome support! Always appreciate hearing your thoughts!
Luna got a bead augmentation.
Feel like the Kratos is the disc I’ve been missing
Love your in depth reviews!
Thanks so much!
I don’t think I’ll end up throwing it but a cool disc nonetheless! I wonder why Kratos tho…
Paul’s line has that Greek theme going.
Been waiting for this video. Thanks Chris!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Great video! Stoked for the giveaway.
Been waiting forvthis video. Thanks Chris
Hope you enjoyed!
I’m glad you were able to get one.
Thank you! 🙏 definitely pricey, but anything to help get info out to everyone!
Another great one. keep up the great work
Thank you! 🙏

I feel like it will hold if kept on a hyzer line. But thrown on any anhyzer into a headwind, it won’t fight back at all.
Nice
Would you say it might compare to an envy?

The Challenger? Prior to the Luna that was the most popular putter with a bead.

Like the new look for your intros.
Awesome review! Luna on with a bead!
Love me some cheating lefty disc reviews!❤
How different is the Kratos from a Gateway Wizard?
I have limited experience with the Wizard, but the Wizard was considerably deeper and a lot more glide/floaty. Haven’t tried throwing one, but from putting experience, I feel the Kratos would be much more torque resistant.

Sweet!!
Yes kratos
Hehe first
