Dorwood Stair and Patio Prep | Episode 4

We knocked out SO much on week 4 of the Dorwood project, even tho we battled nasty cold and rainy weather! We started building our patio steps and then prepped our upper patio area for pavers next week!!! While this backyard is small, we have managed to maximize every square inch for the ultimate backyard living!

What was the brown(dirt?) material you put in the elevated area before than adding more clear stone?

It was sand we dug we dug out during excavation

@@rcoutdoor1146 What was the reason of putting that back in vs new clean stone? Asking because I really don't know, we have always figured anything we take out stays out and we only build up with new clean?

@@thomasbrennan4091it was decent soil that was easily compactable. If it were clay then I’d definitely be putting in clean stone for backfill
