Thanks for this! Made me realize that even with my LLC, my situation is extremely simple so I should be able to get my federal and state knocked out in under an hour each. If you've got a donate link or something, I'll kick some of the money I'm saving by not using H&R Block your way instead.
Thank you very much for your kind words! And please don’t feel like you need to give us anything, but if you feel obliged we take “super thanks” which you can get to under any of our videos
This was very helpful! Thanks for sharing! A quick question to the expert: what should I write on line 16 if my line 15 on the 1040 fom was $112,010 during 2022?
well man, had to watch it and follow along to enter my own figures... downloaded 1040 from fed site, and 1040 instructions for good measure...only line that concerned me was line #16, its not revelant to the computation ,is it just to compare previous year tax for feds ? i can see how you subtracted 4568 from 5028 to get 460 but it looks odd to me...in anycase, thanks for saving me time and money!
Very well explained, thank you. Is there a way that the money I spend for health insurance premium and state taxes, get deducted from my taxable income?
I don’t understand how to fill this form out being self employed. All the online sites are requiring me to fill a box labeled W2 income. Obviously I don’t have that.
Hi, thank you very much for explaining everything in details. If I'm a student, and I have loan, which part or how do I fill out student loan deduction or does this not apply to this particular tax return?
Hello, quick question. When I subtracted lines 14 from 11 which is 52,782.33-12,950=39,832.33 instead of the 39,778.33. I am just wondering how did you get that number?
Hello! I have a question; I’m efiling on the IRS website and my info is hella simple just w2 forms that need to be submitted with no dividends or extra stuff! I made $28,685 and taxable income was $15,735 on line 15. Do I have to use the tax table for line 16?😿
Home owners insurance can only be written off as a tax deduction if you use a portion of your home to run a business. Health care can be deducted for expenses over 7.5% of your adjusted gross income
@@APennyPinchersGuide thank you, one more question if you don't mind, what about the social security and medicaid tax withhead. I usually use the HR Block website but their prices go up every year so I thought I would try the IRS website.
You can certainly file taxes for your son, but he will need a 1040 in his own name to report the income. Depending on his age and other factors, you can still claim him as a dependent and he would need to report that he is being claimed as a dependent
@@APennyPinchersGuide Thank you for your response. My son is 20 years old and full time student and earned $3,300 during 2022. Does he need to file a Single Tax Return? we lived in NH. Thank you.
I’m not familiar with tax laws for NH, but for a federal return he would file as single and mark that he was claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return
Hi -- My house is paid off for several years now. However, in 2022 I replaced my AC unit at $18,000 cost. Can I deduct that amount in my Tax income as a home repair expense? THANK YOU in advance.
