  • We had more snow for Valentine's Day! Weather reports said we would receive over 12 inches of snow, but we only received about half of that. It was another good night plowing snow and I hope you enjoy the show!
Thank you for checking out my video!

Back in the late 1940’s/50’s. Farmers plowed the roads. In Michigan snow came down 2-6/inches per hour. I walked 2 miles to highschool. They gave us all we could eat plus take home to families. I also could do 4 hrs of football practice or basketball. The walk home was the toughest. Snow was deeper and in darkness. Family loved highschool cooks sending good food home to us. Small farm families appreciated their care for poorer rural farms. I walked sometimes fore two weeks and brought meals to my family. Cooks would say what do you need and how many members. Wrapped it up pack it in my back pack and home I went. I think my mom was a little jealous of the school cooks but she was also relieved!

Growing up in Maine during the 60s and 70s, these last two snows there were a pretty typical winter for us.
How times change, and I prefer the good ol' days...

Just a suggestion Jim.... Have you ever thought of couple of used cutting edges bolted to the back side of the rubber flap on your one-way plow
.... Extra weight may help eliminate snow coming over the front 😕

Love watching your plow videos. A tip from down south, I carry a kitchen broom with me behind the seat. It’s a lot easier for clearing your lights than trying to climb around the box spreader.

This sure has been a winter to remember. Glad I got out of the snow business. The long shifts, gallons of coffee catching naps In the truck. It's a young man job.

Not much snow here in NY.
Agreed if there are snow banks it is easier to see.
Remember you Bull Dog little buddy on the hood is looking out for you.
Take care I am jealous of your snow it is always fun not easy but fun to me. Not everyone is built to run a overweight vehicle is bad weather.
I also like the fact that you don’t deal with much vehicle traffic.
Have you seen any moose this year?

Probably good you didn't get what was called for. Was a pretty narrow band for the deep stuff. Did the road where the contractors were working fill in?

Are you ever allowed to have someone ride along with you at night to keep you company, or doesn't the county allow that?

Put your satellite drive in your trucks!! It’s inexpensive and accurate to 4 inches left or right’ you can drive in white out conditions!! Get you home safe. Won’t hit any buried vehicles! Michigan loves it so does northern Canada. Contract 16 weeks per season! You guys are pathetic! I’m 77 yrs old and have sat. On my tractor snow blower.
