Some how I grew up into a economy that isn’t built for me. It’s far too expensive, and with interest rates, and mortgage renewals, each and everything is becoming more expensive by the end of this year nearly all of the middle class are on their last legs. This economy wasn’t built for us, and the more you know, the more you know it’s true. Jobs are sparse and not available. My life is a constant struggle, and I don’t see it getting better, I just see me attempting to stay a float. Meanwhile my parents and grandparents are getting older, so as I take time to work, I’m also loosing time with them.
You say money is coming in, when really we are being bled, there’s no end as the people who run the money have more than they share.
You say I’ll find love or step through a portal, while all week I try I still wake up Sunday alone.
Dating apps, meeting people in person. Social what have you, and still alone. Surrounded by friends family. Still alone.
And yet I keep going, only for ending it would break my parents hearts.
But yet a hour after the funeral they’ll have dinner plans and by Thursday be back to the routine.
