Congratulations on 5,000 subs! it doesn't surprise me though, you are such an inspiration. It was wonderful to see your face, I feel like I've actually met you now. I've been following you from the beginning of your videos because I've always liked your style of scrapbooking.. mostly because you don't overdo the embellishments, your photos are the star:) I love how you use your stamps and dies on your scrapbook pages, that opened a whole new world to me that I really enjoy! I have always wanted a room that was beautiful, neat and organized but the fact is I can't work that way. I am a visual person and need to have everything where I can see it to use it. My space is huge and has everything I could ever want, but it will never be on the cover of a magazine and I'm OK with that! -Debby

I just want to let you know Ill watch your content regardless of what it is moving forward. I want to let you know that I love the way that you explain your process and I find your voice very clear and joyful to listen to. You know I never miss a video from you. Congratulations to the winners! Dorothy, my scrap room isn’t much larger than yours. I took over our youngest daughter’s room when she moved out. I also have mismatched furniture. My husband made my table using an old door and 2 filing cabinets and I love it! Thanks for showing us your room.

Congratulations to all of the winners! Dorothy,I was so happy to see your crafty space. I loved that it was a mod podgy of different furniture and containers. As much as I dream of one of the perfectly curated craft rooms it is very much an unreality for me so it’s inspiring to know that my most favourite scrapbooker of all time has a room not unlike my own! I also wanted to mention that before I started following you I didn’t own very many stamps or dies but I’m now slowly starting to build a collection because I see how versatile they are for building your own embellishments. I have since started to create cards as well and Stampin Up products are my faves. Thank you for all of your inspiring videos and your wonderful style as well as the great way you film your work!
Thank you Kim. This was fun to read. People have been asking me for a scrap room tour for a long time, and I always say, I'm a horrible example. There are so many fancy rooms to see! Personally, I have a long list of renos before I'll make it to my scrap room so I've resigned to simply enjoy what I have. Thanks for watching!

Enjoyed seeing where you hang out creating. Also nice to see a more realistic room being used. I love seeing the big fancy rooms but I think for most your room could be anyone's craft room. Mine is a mix of odds and ends as well. At the end of the day it doesn't matter where you create what counts is you created with what you had to work with where ever you felt comfortable. Always love your videos.

Congrats to the winners! Great prizes. Dorothy, one of the things I enjoy most about your channel is your voice...could listen to you for hours. Your scrapbook room reminded me a lot of my own which is about 1/2 of my bedroom with random furniture. It is definitely my 'happy place'.

Congrats winners!! Dorothy, thanks for the tour. I am in a 10x12 bedroom that was my youngest daughter’s room. I didn’t even paint it-I just moved in, and I use a hodgepodge of furniture, saving my money for supplies.

Wow first off congratulations on 5000 subscribers! Loved the tour of your craft room, I myself work out of a spare bedroom and nothing fancy about it but it most certainly meets my needs lol. Let me just say you are such a huge inspiration to all of us and I so enjoy watching all your videos. I’ve learned a lot watching the videos and I have been scrapbooking for 30 years and still learn new stuff everyday, I first got addicted to scrapbooking by going to a creative memories class a friend was having and have been hooked ever since lol. Let me tell you I was so surprised to see you had drawn my name for happy mail as I have never ever won anything in my life lol normally I watch you first thing in the morning and this morning the hubby said let’s go run errands before the heat sets in so I was late getting to watch and was totally not expecting this.I am so thrilled to be getting this gift from you and appreciate all you do as I’m sure all the subscribers are appreciative. Your talent is amazing and of course I always love seeing Mr Chester make his appearance, he’s such a beautiful fur baby. Good morning Dorothy, it was great to see you today! I love the walk-through of your room. I'm also set up in a small bedroom and prefer to spend my money on supplies rather than matching (IKEA) shelving units, etc. and use what I already have. It works just fine...although, I could use a larger table, but I have no where to put it. 😉 It's funny how you start out with enough space, but end up working in a 13x13 inch square, if you're lucky. I often end up pulling in a tv tray table for more space. 😊

Thanks Jeannine. Most of my pouches came from past Studio Calico Scrapbooking kits. They used to come in these pouches. I have since found them at the Scrapbook Nerd. I forget who makes them. Look under the organization tab of the shop. If they are in stock, that is where you will find them. Have a nice weekend!

Congrats again on hitting 5k, and congrats to your winners! Loved seeing your space and your scrap stash. I've only been scrapping couple years and seeing the rooms and stashed a lot of folks have was intimidating at first. I think I have as much as you have paper and thicker wise, and just started using stamps, dies, and punches but still don't foresee buying a ton given the space I have to work with. Our 2nd bedroom in our apartment is a shared office space and I made room for a small 2x4 kallax to hold all my scrap supplies and albums. Can't expand from that until we have a bigger place but even if we did I like having a stash where I know each and every item I have.
I used to have way more consumables but I pared down my supplies a few years ago. I love what I have and it's "usable" for my stories and style of scrapbooking. Because I have less, I always have to shop to keep myself stocked. I love my "new" approach!

May I ask where you purchased the zippered pouches you showed toward the end of the video for you paper? They seem to be the perfect size for 12 x 12 sheets! They are showing around the 8:30 spot on this video!

I love these zippered pouches. Most of them came from past Studio Calico monthly scrapbooking kits. (2016-18 ish) . I have also bought them in packs of two from the scrapbooknerd.com.
