It’s just a hiatus. The return to get revenge on Cody and to finish the trilogy is gonna go hard. I truly think we will need a 3rd match because with all the interference it won’t be clear who’s truly the best. A 3rd match one vs one. No Bloodline interference and none of Cody’s allies. And plus Roman will be looking for revenge on The Rock too. 😁

i’m from metro detroit and sat in floor seats for summer slam. The chant died bc we all went to concessions when Ronda’s match started. First time in a while at a major PLE that i’ve felt like the women’s match bathroom break became a thing again
At this point, i am 99% sure that Roman will lose the title at Wrestlemania. And i don't say this just because of "Cody Rhodes and his Story, etc", but rather because WWE wouldn't have let Roman say what he did in the A&E documentary if there wasn't a specific reason behind it. Furthermore, Hollywood will be working on the next Fast movie "Hobbs & Reyes" really soon, which as far as i know will be heavily involving Hobbs' family (of which Roman Reigns also plays a role of). So Roman will probably be gone at least several months for movie shoots pretty shortly after Wrestlemania anyway.

Yeah he went part time too early. He was barely starting to get good and then he decided to not show up. I think it's ultimately because they kept him as champion for far too long when they obviously ran out of challengers to feed him. He should've just lost to Cody last year.

This is just my thoughts about Ronda. I think it was the way her career was sort of well. . . okay. Her mic skills weren't the best. She fell unnatural at times. But the company seems to treat her fairly well. I remember seeing her play Horizon Zero Dawn on her UA-cam, and she seemed fairly chilled at the time, and seemed likable. The whole Biography seemed like a massive work to me to build Roman going into mania. Even more so than the normal sanitization dramatization.
I'm with you. Roman is far from goat status. The majority of his career has been garbage at the whims of Vinces worse impulses. He's had a single good run, 4 or maybe 2 years depending on where you think this kick into high gear. But this reeks of recency bias. This run should be the start of working on top at this level for another 5 or 10 years to go down in the history books. But he's already part time. If he rides of then sure he's going out on a high note at the end of a very troubled 10 years.

I don't know about 6 or 7 more years of accomplishments being needed for Roman's GOAT case when he's already put in almost a decade as a top guy plus with his looming Leukemia since we don't know if it'll ever come back up again or not. I think maybe one more babyface run as Tribal Chief Roman would be great since it would be organic, but the man is pushing 40 and with the effects of his fights with Leukemia most likely still present within his body, his time as a wrestler may be coming to an end soon.

Roman Reigns, I think he is taking some time off rather than fully leaving the company (so feel free to ignore the AEW hardliners and their "Roman Leakee is #AllElite" spiel). You have to remember that besides having 5 children to look after, Roman's health is always a concern, as leukemia can return at any time, even after remission. So honestly, if Roman wants to transition to a part-time schedule, I don't blame him. However, the problem now is that WWE needs to build a new guy up to take the mantle, and fast.
