Vikram wants to become a Mr.Tamilnadu in state body building competition.. so he trained hard himself.. meanwhile he is attracted completely with the super model Amy and got mad about her(song placement🎶 1-Mersalaayitten)... Later he won Mr.Tamilnadu title.. after the title.. many modelling opportunities comes to vikram's hand.. he taken and used those opportunities well.. worked as male model with Amy.. there he gained some enemies who got jealous with his look and career growth (co model, add agency owner and a make up artist). He is doing his work with concentration.. done many add films with her co model Amy((song placement🎶 2-Ladio, and 🎶3-Aila Aila, and 🎶4-Pookaley satru oivedungal))and Amy started to love Vikram❤️.. both were fell in love😍.. then a doctor who the guardian and fell in love with Amy... got jealous about Vikram and his love with Amy.. so he create some lie and gave few bad medical treatment to Vikram(with the help of all his enemies).. later Vikram turned as hunchback bcz of the bad treatment.. he used to hide himself and live alone.. he neglected to meet everyone particularly Amy.. everybody thinks Vikram is dead.. later he finds the truth behind his hunchback look.. then he started to take revenge one by one.. meanwhile the Hunchback(Vikram) kidnapped Amy and keep her safe in some kind of mistery place ((song placement🎶 5-Ennodu nee irunthaal)).. there Amy had comes to know the Hunchback is actually his lover boy Vikram❤️.. and he is not dead.. she felt overjoyed😍and said she still loves him.. she wants to live the rest of life with him😍😍.. then Vikram took revenge of everybody who are the reason behind his fall.. later Vikram met with a doctor with the help of Amy to get treatment for come to normal human being.. when the process started he slowly turns into normal human being.😍

Shankar is like the Steven Spielberg of Indian cinema. He actually revolutionized, Indian cinema into a whole new level not only by those CGI shots but also exploring new sides of cinema. He's also known for his creative picturization of songs in his films. And he is one of those very few directors who completely understood the term "Indian cinema", while others are busy taking masala flicks. Some of his recommended movies.
1.Indian.
2. Mudhalvan(later remaked in Hindi as "nayak").
3. Anniyan.
4. Endhiran(recently its sequel released as 2.0).
5. Shivaji.
For me Shankar slightly resemble James Cameron than Steven Spielberg, great vfx, simple story line, etc etc but Steven Spielberg can be equally compared to rajamouli..

@@nikhisiripuram Looks like you wasn't aware of Shankar's late 90s and early 2k classics. And the term "simple story line" can't fits to Shankar. His films mostly deals with politics, corruption, human psychology and he never tries over the top action scenes and masala flicks like his fellow directors. His films like jeans, endhiran and 2.0 literally started new phases in Indian cinema.
@@sankarganesh2858 yes i have seen many movies of Shankar other than enthiran and I, i watched almost all missed kadhalan and gentlemen. Story is different storyline is different.. what is madhuvalan about? What happens when commen man becomes CM, enthiran- what happens when robot have feelings and become rogue, anniyan- frustrated guy develops MPD, and punish people who do wrong, boys- a group of young people grow as big independent band, jeans- two twins fall in love with same girl.
They developed these story lines into proper films, they aren't a complex one like KV Anand, Vikram kumar films who run their films on thin storylines that's why they have flops.. Shankar have few, where as rajamouli solely depends on story only two or three films of his have simple story line..like eega and maryada ramanna

Stop giving Bollywood references, Bollywood sucks (understatement) in South India. India's best Music Director AR Rahman is from Kollywood, India's best choreographer Prabhudeva is from Kollywood, India's Iconic film makers like Maniratnam, Shankar etc. are from Kollywood, India's best Stunt director Peter Hein is from Kollywood, India's best Cinematographers PC Sriram, Santosh Sivan are from Kollywood. Infact, the whole South Indian movie industries are fantastic. But because lot of population in the whole North India watches Bollywood as they don't understand South languages and many are dumb to understand our movies, Bollywood is portrayed as the representation of Indian Cinema.

This movie was later remake into 'Tere Naam' (Starring Salman Khan) which was a phenomenal blockbuster of his and revived his career.
Director of this movie, Shankar is considered one of the best directors in India. Known to combine commercial elements beautifully to a message oriented movie. Definitely one of my favourite directors. This film was a disappointment for me for the first time among all his other movies. He never had an absolute flop in his entire career. Most are super hits and a few are average. This being among the very few average ones even though Vikram went above and beyond to portray various characters in this movie. Definitely check out Director Shankar’s work. His other works include Robot, 2.0, Indian, Aparichit(Anniyan) and many more.
Singer of this song is ANIRUDH, who is the trendsetting music composer in Tamil. Vaathi Raid, Vaathi coming (Master) are his composing.

Songs in shankar direction, ARR music and Vairamuthu sir's lyrics. Even if you just read the lyrics you will love these songs, it has fun elements even in the lyrics ( but only in Tamil i have watched all these songs in other languages also they most of the time vary from the original)

Tbh the movie isn't bad. It's just that some people had really high expectations from the trailer which were basically action scenes and snippets from the songs for the most part. For eg. if you had watched Ennodu nee irundhaal and had gone to watch the movie after that, obviously you'd expect it to be something related to a beast and fantastic creatures. That's all😂👌👌✨✨
