Thank you! I'm very happy to receive your praise because I take color selection very seriously. If you use too much Kiriosae, it will affect the luster of the thread. It's important to find just the right amount. Thank you for your good question.😊
This technique often calls for stitching in the weft direction. Basically following the direction of the fabric fibres. You can see this fabric has distinct lines in it which she uses to line the stitches up evenly. Not as easy with other fabrics but it can be done.
This is beautiful and you do it very well. I would like to see more. I have a similar project that needs finishing. I could do it using your technique maybe?
Oh also Pipers silks from England are also flat untwisted silk (floss silk) which you could try but it does not have as many silk strands per thread so you will want to double up for coverage. Helen m stevens uses this silk.
There is a seller in the US that ships world wide (Japanese embroidery Center) but the technique is not often used since there are other ways to transfer designs.

汕頭刺繍の縫子さんは、一番目が良い10代の女性が一番いい、と言われるわけがわかりました。
こんなに織り目をこまかく拾っていくのでは、少し目が衰えただけでも難しくなっていくのですね。
この図案の場合は左右をなるべく合わせたいなと思って注意して刺繍しました。おっしゃる通りで目が疲れました〜😅

Japanese silk (same kind used in kimono), and flat silk thread (it is raw silk, not spun into thread, just dyed)
