  • Out riding and exploring new places to ride on my OneWheel XR. Stock Vega tire is a slick so the board tends to slide around and drift the corners a bit. It doesn't look very fast in the video but I'm pretty much going max speed for my body weight and the slick tire. Some spots get sketchy but thats what makes the OneWheel fun to ride off road. Average speed in this video is about 15 mph but in some spots I can get up to 18 mph.

Nice session, thanks for sharing. You ever have issues with punctures on the Vega after riding through gravel like that? Also, do you keep the tire at normal (street) PSI or do you air down before hitting the gravel section?

Thanks. I put 2,300 miles on my stock Vega tire and never had any issues going through all kinds of gravel areas.
It's easier to ride this type of terrain aired down a bit but it won't pop the tire even if it's aired up.
I bought a Hoosier treaded tire and replaced the Vega even though I probably could have got a few hundred more miles out of it.
