Okay where do I start, I guess I'll start with my thoughts going into this video. I was absolutely dreading seeing reavers part, I thought it was going to be the most boring generic exalt type edit, I thought DNZ was gonna come through with the strongest editing out of them all which idk if he did. I will say the intro of this video was done beautifully DNZ. My only 2 problems with the video and with Eon as a whole is that I feel as if they can't pinpoint a style and say "This is Eon, these are the type of videos we make" instead they pull a lot of inspiration from other teams. (Maybe that's their intention from the get go and I'm just now realizing) I remember when they first came out and were getting Minor Tribe comparisons from some people, and I feel like that was present in this video as well, mixed with some elements from an old FN teamtage, the other problem I had with this video is that it didn't FEEL like a what it IS, this is Eon's biggest and highest standard video to date-- Their magnum opus, BUT it didn't feel that way, this felt like any other Eon video, it wasn't extremely hyped up as I feel like some of the players in the team deserved it to be. This video needed to be hyped up so that players like Bowers, Sxy, and Lite who absolutely DESTROYED their contributions to this video got the hype they deserve for their incredible performance. The only time this video felt like it was a big deal was the introduction and the closing section. Now that that's out of the way let's talk about THAT FUCKING CLOSING SECTION. BOY OH BOY DID I HAVE REAVER FUCKED UP!!!! THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST CREATIVE EDITS ON A BIG TEAMTAGE I HAVE EVER SEEN, and calling back to what I said previously about Eon not having their own style, if yall are still searching for something to call Eon's style THAT NEEDS TO BE IT. This video came out great, and as much as I dont like to be a "cod nerd" this video put me right back in my fucking place of geeking over these videos like i used to when I was still in school and would come home and play for hours and hours and watch teamtages and hit clips.
