He needed to repent and confess his sins if all of what he was being accused was true.

Emotion and faith cannot work together.
I dont see why the two cant work together since when you have faith, even the size of a mustard seed, you get emotionally involved.
Faith says I trust God at his Word and I will work His Word regardless of the outcome because it WILL work for my good but emotion is deceptive. Emotions only flare up in the MOMENT of a situation. People cry at the altar for a variety of reasons which are legitimate. But Faith is better coupled with Action and it must done on a continuous basis so you can see the fruit in your life.
