I disagree with the blessing of same sex or Irregular couples. If they are repentant and struggling and need a blessing thats one thing but that makes It an individual blessing of someone struggling with homosexuality or samesex. But to bless a couple that have no intention of repentance then I believe they shouldn’t receive a blessing because it contradicts the doctrine of the faith and church teachings. You can not bless sin. I believe they need to clarify this document and change it to individual blessing of people struggling with homosexuality or Irregular situations. This is my opinion but I think the document opened up a way to Interpret It Incorrectly and needs clarity so there is not confusion or room for ambiguity.
Exactly. Church of nice doing the opposite of what Jesus did. People came and come to Christ because they wanted/need forgiveness, and guidance how to walk with God not push him out of the way. Jesus said go and sin NO MORE after their sins were forgiven and a repentant heart was found. That Church has plenty of lightning rods and the odds of the statue so close to the ground being targeted were highly improbable. It destroyed Peter's halo, his blessing hand, and the key he was holding which represents the key Christ gave to Peter to head the Catholic Church. Now the author of Fiducia Supplicans was exposed for writing a creepy sex book that he tried to bury years ago. A fellow Cardinal from Argentina and friend of Pope Francis for at least 20 years. Do you guys think Pope Francis didn't know about this book or the nature of Cardinal Fernandez that entire time?

If there was no change why did Fernandez explicitly create a new form of blessing in this document? The document also doesn’t say they are blessing individuals it explicitly states blessing a couple. Couple is a singular term, joined by whatever means through which they have determined, explicitly in this regard joined via adultery or sodomy.

Again, the document states that marriage is for man and woman alone, to be open to both love and life and that no other sexual union outside of this, gay OR straight, can be blessed by God! Can you please tell me or show me an example in the tradition or scripture, where an object whose sole existence is evil has a descending grace from God? You can try and nuance it all you want. December 16th, if Father Martin would have done his little photo-op he would have been chastised and potentially laticized. Now, he is flaunting it. Sodomy is evil, adultery is evil, incest is evil. And yet now all these “irregular” couples can come up and receive blessings as couples. They are doing it now in St Peter’s. It has never been a question as to whether a sinner (I.e. all of us) can recieve a blessing. That has been evident throughout old and New Testament. Now we are ignoring scripture (1 Corinthians 5 & 6 give an explicit example on how to handle this type of public sin), and instead now affirming people in their sin.
