Thanks u answered my question, i have an M performance muffler 60mm OD, finally got my tips but wasnt sure what to do about that metal peg was thinking dremel but the saw it will be
Thank you very much for you video. Hammering out the tip is very easy. It took less than 10 seconds. But sawing the stub was pretty boring. I used the same tool and it took 15 minutes. Nevertheless, It's absolutly necessary to saw it otherwise the tip is too much out and it looks bad. Thanks again !!!
I just cut the pipe at the stub. Helps to stick the new tips a bit further in so you can't see it inside the new tips. I see the WA plates. I'm in Vancouver. Where abouts are you from?
Love the look! Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Quick question: do you recall how much room you had to come back further on the pipe if I get a different diffuser that sticks out more than the OEM one? After market diffusers can leave the tip recessed which looks bad so trying to see if this would accommodate sliding back. Thanks!
If you get a diffuser you will have a ton off room for adjustment! These tips can really stick out so you won't have any issues. The disfusser would have to stick out a ton to hide the tips.
@@keano9542 I think these were advertised for M2/3/4 series, but good to know they would fit our B58. They also have larger fitments like the 67/70mm, but good to know the 63mm would fit.
My exhaust don’t come out level and tried everything one pipe sits in just a little more. So going to try something like this my tips now are 89mm hope I can get them to fit over and make level
@@keano9542 if I undo the mid pipe then the exhaust hangs level and I can’t move the cat pipe the shop guy said to cut and weld and bit in to level lol
Hey I got it from the same website for my 340i non m performance and I got 63mm, but I tried to install it and it was big and wouldn’t stick on the stock muffler
No its super easy. The 440i and the 340i have similar exhaust systems. You can pull the tips off your exhaust and and put these ones on. You tighten them down with a socket wrench.
There are short replica's available where you dont have to saw off your 2 little nobs, also, they cost around, 30 dollars each, I have them, and they look really genuinely! nice video ! thanks for sharing !
Hey dude, any chance you have a link to those? Been trying to find tips that look basically like the ones in this video but the nubs on the muffler pipes continue to be an issue for the ones that I’ve found on eBay and other places
@@alexc3295 you should be fine with these, I bought them from a local website but cant seem to find it, been a long time. I have the maxton diffuser so the tips come out just as it should be, cheers! Keep in mind that these are 120 mm in lenght, so if your diff is stock they will stick out, I didnt had to remove the nobs because of the diff. a.aliexpress.com/_m0B5kUf
@@justincase00004 Hey thanks so much for the reply bro! Super sorry, just saw this after like a month (totally my bad). But awesome! Will check that link out and hopefully order them, really appreciate it 👍👍
I really do not understand why everyone who does an install video for some reason do not turn on the car to hear the sound results, maybe a before and after. 🤔
Actually the tips are resonated(little holes inside the tip) so they would slightly change the tone of it,either way it would be nice to see/hear for ourselves tho its better for the video and it would prevent the arguing in the comments
Saw a black 440 with them the other day, which is why I searched your video. Those look great and even better in person! I appreciate the instal help
You bet!!
Pretty neat garage!!!!

Yea a good little saw cuts right through

Do you need to be very accurate with the cutting of the stub or make it smoother after cutting?? Thanks.

Do you have to buy the clamps separately or does it come with the exhaust tips?

U can put this on any model for 128i
Where can i get that little orange saw?
would the 63mm fit on a 2017 f36 440i
do you know if these would work for the F32 2018 440? Non-M performance should also work on the 63mm?
Yes they will!

When you order the tips just make sure you get the largest size. If your exhaust isn’t level try getting new hangers

Hey buddy! Would they fit F31 320D 2017 whit twin exaust to the left? 🤔
I have not seen in person but I did see online that someone did. Get the 63mm tips
Would these fit an E92 328i? Because I’m not sure the diameter size of my exhaust
If its the stock exhaust, yes!
Is it 100% necessary to saw off those metal stubs? They won't fit far enough on without doing this?
You don't have to but the exhaust tips will stick out a lot and won't look good.
Ok. Thanks
I just ran into this today and this video helped so much I was wondering what’s up with that hangar or metal stub. Thanks!
Do you have the MPE or standard exhaust?
Standard Exhaust

@@sefakarabayir7637 Yes! go with the 63mm
Does it effect the sound at all? Or is it for looks only
Only looks
they are not 63mm, the inner diameter is 63mm but not the outer
Out mm?
Do they change sound at all?
What size is your exhaust 63 or 67mm?
63mm
Will these fit on the 2021 XB7?
Measure the inside diameter of the tail pipe. (Not the muffler tips but the actual tail pipe) If its between 66mm to 63mm they will fit
Can these fit on a 2009 bmw 328i sedan?
Yes just get the smaller diameter tips
Does this give extra 50 hp?
200hp actually
What size you got my friend?
For the standard exhaust it is the 63mm

You wont get any sound improvement that is hearable by ear by just changing the exhaust tips sis ☺
