    I loved that your intro talked about chasing stories. You used to say that all the time at the end of your videos, and I've always loved the way you encouraged us. You totally inspired me and I just got back to my mum's driveway after moochdocking and boondocking for 6 weeks all around the Province. I had a fabulous time and I wouldn't have done it without you 🥰. So, thank you! ❤️🚙🇨🇦.
    Really cool interview! What a great business she created! As a furniture artist I'm completely confident in painting and decor, but no clue about roofs, etc so I totally hear how important the rest of it is. Thank you so much!

    I just redid my 2020 toyhauler countertops to corian. The crap they use in rv's for countertops is awful. Found a L shaped piece of used corian for $50. Enough material to do the complete kitchen and bathroom counters-and 2 undermount sinks. Came out beautiful. Corian is so easy to work with and is strong and waterproof. Total cost for remodel is $150! Beat that flippers!

    Loved this! They should make conversion Vans and RV's interiors interchangable in the future. All plumbing should be on the inside and easily accessible. Pop a fixture off and a new one on with quick release fittings. Do the same with plumbing pipes and lighting, everything movable, modular and click in place. Cabinets, counters, fridge, heater, stove all moveable and click into floor and wall anchors. Interior wall panels held in place by anchors or Velcro. Easily replaceable without tools. Shower walls and pans should also be easily replaceable. Too much to ask for? If anyone could do this they would lead the industry. Thanks for this thought provoking subject!

    Manufactures say Oh we can do that in a mass production. That is crazy.. Like just change the colours from Brown brown brown to white cupboards. So manufactures don't have strong skeleton base for Vans. Mass productions mean only money to them for very very little cost.

    Loved this Amber. Beautiful interior. The weight would be a big factor to consider for sure. One thing I've thought of for years is that it's not only the inside, but the outside of the RVs that have been so hideous (in my not so humble opinion). I've never met anyone who loved those loud crazy swooshes and stripes (decals or painted). Yet, I never hear anyone talking about providing something more tasteful or toned down (like cars). I love the rare few smaller trailers that allow you to customize your decals. That's at least a start. I notice the outside of her Montana is as luxury as the inside.

    Being called a "Plugged Princess" to me is very insulting. Everyone has choices about how and why they live in an RV. I'm retired and can't afford to live in a house or apartment. I live in a class C 26' in a small Mobile Home/RV Park in Florida. I AM NOT A PLUGGED PRINCESS!!!! Traveling alone at 70 is not an option for me. How demeaning can one be.

    • @storychasing
      @storychasing  3 роки тому

      Diane Provencher 😊 It's not meant to be mean and I'm sorry if it offended you. It's just a cute "glamping" RV term that people use when someone is plugging in rather than boondocking. We all have a pluggin princess in us when we get tired of boondocking and just want the "luxury" of having hook-ups and for me a shower! lol I'm so glad you've found this life and you should not be ashamed of it at all. Its a good life whether you stay plugged in at campgrounds or travel. I'm glad we have options.
