They need to revamp the menu at Medieval times to make it more authentic. Corn, tomatoes, potatoes, and chocolate all come from the Americas which had not been discovered by Europeans. The channel Tasting History has all kinds of real medieval recipes they could be using.
I’ll never forget when I was like 5, I got picked out of everyone by a knight and he gave me his flag on the end of his pole while sitting on his horse🥲 the stadium was packed and he picked me
bro medieval times is so fun i went yesterday 12/26/22 i was on blue team, i screamed so loud and my cousin got a flower from him. When the show ended i got a picture with the blue knight. I’d recommend medieval times. PS: the food is actually quite delicious too
Movies, and also during the Renaissance the writers wanted to show, that their time now is so much better and modern, that they wrote just "bad stuff" about their ancestors
I went twice with a few friends and it was AMAZING! Then I went for a school field trip and all we got was a cold lil drumstick that was drowned in butter, cold half of a potato, and 2 cookies from Chips Ahoy or something like that. I also can’t forget the *ONE HOUR* long anti-bullying thing with the knights (granted we were in highschool), and in the last 15 minutes, the slowest and fakest fights where half the shots they wouldn’t even hit. The field trip was surely an experience…
@@Newa.-.the California locations arena is shaped differently than the other ones. Most are much longer and thinner, while Californias is much wider and not quite as long.

I’m not sure if we got vip, but 5 schools including mine was able to sit in the front and have lots of food, I had a lot of money but I didn’t want to buy the drink because it looked weird, instead I got a ring and a glowing flower, I was the white and black time and the knight kept saying hello to me which made me very happy, for a snack I got bread and a cookie, and for lunch I got this yummy potato, corn, and chicken! Btw I was in Toronto I was on the bus for over an hour and we saw the CN tower!!
i remember since i don’t eat chicken i had to trade off my piece for another potato, gladly our knight won and i truly never forgot it… this was a 7th grade field trip 😂😂

Has just NOTHING to do with the middle ages, but lookes like it was a nice fantasy enspired evening... (By the way, there were neither tomatoes, nor corn, nor potatoes experienced ad that time in medieval Europe. But there are plenty of cookbooks, beginning from around 1320, that are still available to cook authentic meals - think that would have been a more interesting experience)
Dear Medival- Lovers, the medival period ended in the 1500hundreds, after America was rediscovered. So, if you want to go medival, don't serve tomatos, corn and potatos. These vegetables came from the new world, medival people didn't know them, not even the king. Also, there were no pinacoladas and cokes back then. It's nice to watch a medival tournament, but please, do so without eating! The medival nobility dined a lot, but not during a jousting event! And, please, don't eat with your fingers! As a person of status you bring your own knife and spoon along. But don't use a fork, that's a sign of the devil, with whom you don't want to be associated with. Wear your best clothes, no jeans, you're not a peasant and certainly not if you're a lady. Women do not wear men's clothes! Please, cover your hair. Your're not a loose woman, who can be hired for sexual services. Jewellry is worn by both sexes during festivities, it's a sign of status. So, don't hold back! As for the caps of Santa Claus on your armor- that's not a good idea. These hats look like they're worn by jesters and have nothing to do with highly priced armor. Please remember, the medivals loved status- symbols. So, dress to impress!😂
everyone saying it's not realistic should really not give a fuck lmao. It's just for fun and mostly for kids but medieval times knows that the adults would enjoy it.
The food is strangely delicious to be so basic. Better than a few high end steak houses we have been to. The smell of horses and dust in the air sucked though.
Bro the tomato soup SUCKS, garlic bead on top🗣️ chicken ok, corn fire🔥 and the potato is alright the frozen eclair is so good also I lost my voice the day after 😅
They have one of these near me in Canada, shit was honestly a good time
I love it lol
"So medieval times didnt have silver ware but they had pepsi?"
"Dude i gotta alot of tables...."
LOL, i most definitely will pay this place a visit inorder to taste the medieval Pepsi
"I gave all the knights free cable!😊"

@@Thisplaceisaprison3912 dude! Same here lol the closest one to me is like 4 hours away but I’m planning on it some day soon

I was just watching that movie like yesterday cause I had a nostalgia trip from my childhood and only found out then that medieval times was real lol
I went here back in the mid 90's as a kid. I still remember it to this day! I will take my son here when he is old enough. Such a good time!
I went in 2009 and our evil green knight lost. I still remember it 14 years later.

I had my first beer at medieval times in Orlando. I was 9😂
Nice 😂
Good you have to start early to build up a resistance.
💪
I chuckled at the fact they served corn, potatoes with paprika, and tomato soup. All of which didn’t arrive in Europe until way after the medieval era
Also no chocolate and sugar for that pastry in medieval Europe. 😂
I felt something was off during the video. Now I know.
They need to revamp the menu at Medieval times to make it more authentic.

My parents took me when I was a kid I loved it really fun experience for the hole family
Jim Carrey popped into my head from Cable Guy! 😊
We’ve got one in SC. Took a field trip there when I was younger and it was soooo fun. Loved every part of it.
In medieval Euorope there was no tomatoes, potatoes or corn. 😅
I remember going to a place like this as a field trip when I was a kid I love how u had to eat with your hands it was so much fun
Where did people get this idea that medieval people had no silverware or manners?
Movies, and also during the Renaissance the writers wanted to show, that their time now is so much better and modern, that they wrote just "bad stuff" about their ancestors
I'm gonna be on a friken ad for this on May 7th

We are going this month for my daughter's birthday 🎂. Thanks for sharing this video. Are the adult drinks super expensive????
No corn no tomato in the middle ages!
No piña colada either 😅
the blue one is so cute
I would be eating like Denethor II there. 😂😂😂
Please don’t 🍅
tomato, corn and potatoes.... NONE OF THESE THINGS EXISTED IN MEDIEVAL EUROPE WTF
At least they could give you knives and spoons, no cutlery as a gimmick is misplaced if they hide behind authenticity
There was no corn nor potatoes nor tomatoes in medieval times
That looks like fun 😊
When I was in 7th grade I went to the medieval times. It was really cool and they gave me a rose lmao
I worked at the one in Toronto as a knight for about a year . That was 12 years ago!
I’m going there on my moms birthday!
Eat with your hands, yet they used knives and spoons.
Medieval Times, also has tomatoes and corn and potatoes
I heard that potatoes weren't around for a good while. They used Turnips before potatoes came around.
Makes me wanna live in medieval times
I've been here a few times wish I could go again I'd prolly might try & go for my 26th birthday if I have the money
Are you not entertained?!?! They need to come up with Gladiator Times!!
of course the californian medieval times battle field is huge 😭

Me and my family went for Father’s Day and we did not regret it
they give you the garlic bread after you finish the soup lmao
The least medieval menu you could ever have potato, corn, garlic bread, tomato soup, these are all post medieval Europe.
Did you watch MatPat?
Or maybe he read a book
My wife would be bringing her own hotsauce
They used to have ribs. Well; ONE rib to be exact

The green knight has never won mainly because it's the "bad guy" so if your assigned him just don't get your hopes up

Corn!? They didn't have corn in the middle-ages. I think im gonna have to pass.
*Tomatoes, Potatoes, and Corn didn't exist anywhere in Europe during medieval times.*
And they definitely dont use pewter plate. They use medieval trencher bread. Max miller from tasting history channel made an episode about that.😂😂
