@@nine9nine9 Polygamy is when a man has multiple wives due to religious reasons. The wives aren't romantically or physically involved with eachother, just with the husband. (That is how polygamy is traditionally, but im sure there are cases that are vice versa and everything) Polyamory is when three or more people are involved romantically or physically all together. Everyone is involved with one another. (People also tend to confuse it with open relationships, where a couple agree to have physical relations with other people that isn't their partner. That's also something completely different, in polyamory every person involved is romantic or physical with everyone that is involved.) It's the same dynamic you'd have with a regular couple, it's just that instead of two people it's three people. (There can be more than three, but most of the time it is three people) I hope that makes sense lol
I can’t be the only person who feels physically sick at the thought of my partner with another person sexually. The only reason I can think of for people behaving this way is because they aren’t feeling satisfied with their relationship. They think other people will be a bandaid for it. It doesn’t seem like a healthy way of handling it to me, but what do I know?
The last part is the most important one. We humans know next to nothing. I’m monogamous, but to be honest, a threeway relationship working doesn’t seem like that unbelievable. It will definitely be hard, heck even monogamous relationships are hard but it definitely seems doable (not for everyone though).
As some one who has been in a closed triad its amazing but the jealousy is something you have to look out for if one of them starts to get jealous they will destroy things from the inside out
@@IcyPhilosopher Considering throughout the entire history of the Western world, monogamous relationships were actively advocated for, I'd say so. Well, the entire history aside from the current hedonistic times we live in, where pleasure is sought after over everything else.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88 So a few thousand years in one part of the world because of a religion vs possibly a million before, including in the old testament and in many other cultures and nations throughout the world? Also are you pretending marriage during many of those years was about love at all and not merely property? The Romans didn't exactly marry for love, neither did the greeks, neither did people in the middle ages. Many were in relationships with multiple people, had multiple wives, concubines, lovers, etc. If you think history is on your side, you really haven't thought this through.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88 Also "monogamous relationships were actively advocated for" therefore they are always healthy and viable? That's some silly reasoning. I would wager most of human history has had one man and many wives. But I don't take that history to mean it's better or that it's the way it should be because the past had little to do with what we decide to do now in the present with our free will and more modern understanding.
@@IcyPhilosopher Not even a few thousand, depending on when you believe the Western world's creation was. And i argue for this brief time period because of the fact, within such a short time frame the Western world rose to become the most dominant entity on the planet. The West built empires that spanned the entire world, and are responsible for large leaps in societal and technological progress, despite it's relatively short life compared to the rest of human history. The Western world is evidently losing everything that once made it so great. If this comment section is anything to go off of.

As a poly person myself this both amused and horrified me XD communication is the main thing in poly relationships. You don't talk things through you won't make it so no rules is stressful. I've been through failed poly relationships and am in a wonderful very happy one. It can work if you make the effort to ya know talk and be honest. You catch feelings for someone and wanna pursue that? Talk to your partner(s) first. Make sure everyone is aware and on board. If someone has an issue talk it out don't get mad usually jealousy can be worked through pretty amicably. Cheating in a poly relationship usually means you didn't talk to your partner first and felt you needed to hide someone from them and that's not okay. Set your boundaries and how you wanna handle new people early.
I love how so many people are like “do whatever you want as long as you’re not hurting anyone” but then flip their shit when they see someone consensually dating more than one person and are happy about it

Me and my husband do similar. We have pretty clear boundaries and make sure to communicate regularly. We're both ok with the other dating or being physical with other people, but we need to talk about it and make sure the other knows what's happening. I think we'd both get upset if there was a lack of communication, which I feel like is a major killer of any relationship, poly or otherwise
@@ImplacableInsanity Yeah. Ken - "What you mean this trampoline isn't made to hold 3 adults?"

One of my favorite Type O songs. I never see enough people mention them.
The husband was probably hella mad til he saw her, then realised he was getting an upgrade and was like, "Yeah babe, let's give this poly thing a try.."
Love don't judge but, we sure do.

You guys have the best "bromance" ever. love you guys! keep it up!
On days that I wake up late, y'all's videos are always at the top of my UA-cam and my first watch. It's like the beginning of my daily routine, on those days. Love yer videos! 💚
Omg hahah "we had to buy a truck with a bench front seat"
Dane "well now you're trying to make it hard" haha
“I know I cheated on you first but how dare you fall in love with her and be completely honest about it.” The reason I don’t do this poly bull.
I went to see a guy that was in a poly relationship one time and his girlfriend was there it was literally the most awkward thing I've ever experienced after I left I never talked to him again lol
It's funny they completely missed the hairless cat
lol I love how they're trying to show chemistry between the dude and the new chick, and they just have them argue about mexican coke.
*Reads title*
So basically theyre just cheating on eachother with the same girl. Got it.
Sounds lovely.
Better them waist each other's time then some decent people
@@crazychase98
What did you see that made it seem like they weren't decent people? A lot of judgment for something that doesn't seem to be hurting anyone.
No, they're polyamorous, they're not cheating as long as all parties are consenting.

How?
It’s so cute how they both have the same hairstyle but it’s parted on opposite sides 😂
There are definitely still rules in poly relationships...
Funny story my dad pushed at my stepmom to have an open / Polly relationship because they were these chicks you really want to be with and it backfired horribly because he's never dated a single person and she said a steady boyfriend for the past few years... That really did not work out he planned lol
That guy's sounding like he's wondering if the green M&Ms taste different 😂
"Stay toasty my friends and I love you, but not as much as everyone loves Jamie!"
I’m sighing so much, but I’m from Arkansas and this is 100% believable. The items in the home and all.
Jamie’s either a player or just a very good person, cause seems like everyone does like her 😂
Even the cat 💜😺
When she flopped outta that hammock tho 🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I love how Ken notices every little detail but how come he missed the nakey cat! 🤣
I feel like it's probably nice for them but I could never share my partner like that, love the video! Hope everyone has a nice day❤
as someone that's poly, it's honestly not for everyone and take a hot minute to reformat your brain to get out of regular dating norms
@HamSamwich I get that you are not of the same mindset but it's not a reason to be mean about it dear
@@FiberglassUnicorn As long as people are happy I think it's all that matters 😄
@@FiberglassUnicorn “...take a hot minute to reformat your brain...” Jesus Christ. Passive-aggressive much?
@Iris Girl I accept them, just not their condescending bullshit. They can live their life, but once they tell people to “reformat their brains,” they need to grow up.
The real twist is that the son fell in love with her too 😂
Then the girlfriend has a baby and the babies in love with the son and then you hear, "Sweet home Alabama", playing in the background.
Because let's face it that's how much of a joke polygamy really is.

The bench seat thing is so funny to me. Just like Ken said, seems like a jealousy thing. Like the people sitting together love each other more than the person sitting behind them. My wife and I just take turns sitting in front with our boyfriend. And sometimes, she and I sit in the back together. Not a big deal.
Love when Ken throws that shade.
Not the route i go, i cheat like a normal man. 😂

@5:55 about the "mexican coke" thing, yes if you look at the fine print it will say something along the lines of "bottled in , México"
That young prolly was the one who introduced Jamie to Mom in the first place as his older classmate crush 🤣

Ken's just mad that guys accent sounded just like his when he puts it on heavy 😅
gross i hate seeing this especially with kids involved. it seems like both of them are just attracted to the new "gf" more than eachother and just give her all the attention cause shes attractive. and she just seems like she loves the attention
Yes these kinds of relationships are sick. Idc what anyone says.
This is disgusting. I don’t understand how America turned into this so fast.
Where do I see myself in 5 years? Celebrating the 5 year anniversary of you asking me that question!
I don't think the wife was mad that he had feelings for someone else, but that he was after her girlfriend 😂
That's the vibe I got too. Like he can have another woman just not her gf (in her view). But what's funny is that she was with Jaime then he found out and was like "I'm cool with it."
ty for new video
Solo Films just makes videos primarily about lowered/custom vehicles, but regardless, this relationship is super weird lol
I saw this and said, Oh no!!!!!!! Not YOU GUYS again!!!!!!!!!
Yup, them were tars!!!!!!!? 😂❤
Just play the Sims as an outlet for these kinds of things, it’s easy and consequence free lol.
One of my bosses asked me where I saw myself in 5 years and I said, "maybe my own store or just moving up as far as I can". HE GOT BUTTHURT TOO! He was like, "well, that's not really something you should say to the hiring boss cause it's a little intimidating, he might not hire you if he's afraid of you taking his job." .....was he talking in third person? ..... Yes! He talked me into resigning when I was going thru some medical issues! ... I was young and dumb and now realize, I COULD'VE HAD HIS JOB!

@@spades77 I dunno, the After and 365 series seem kinda sketchy 👀
I'm assuming Crystal is "large wife"?
Garrick isn't polyamorus he's actually polygamous which is completely different lol
What's the difference?
@@nine9nine9 Polygamy is when a man has multiple wives due to religious reasons. The wives aren't romantically or physically involved with eachother, just with the husband. (That is how polygamy is traditionally, but im sure there are cases that are vice versa and everything)
Polyamory is when three or more people are involved romantically or physically all together. (There can be more than three, but most of the time it is three people)
I hope that makes sense lol
@@fallenbee ohhhhhh omg that makes so much sense. Thanks for the explanation! I genuinely thought they were all called the same thing haha, cheers!!!
@@nine9nine9 np! Sorry that it was a messy explanation lol
Fajitas, effing fajitas 😂 that’s the challenge in this triad. Wtf 💀
I feel same way. Something is missing with these people in their relationships.
Same
The last part is the most important one. We humans know next to nothing. I’m monogamous, but to be honest, a threeway relationship working doesn’t seem like that unbelievable. It will definitely be hard, heck even monogamous relationships are hard but it definitely seems doable (not for everyone though).
I've never seen a ploy relationship that didn't crash and burn. It's '60's free love all over again and we know how that turned out
As some one who has been in a closed triad its amazing but the jealousy is something you have to look out for if one of them starts to get jealous they will destroy things from the inside out
@FuturePants
Yes because monogamous relationships with two people are always totally healthy and viable. 🙄
@@IcyPhilosopher
Considering throughout the entire history of the Western world, monogamous relationships were actively advocated for, I'd say so.
Well, the entire history aside from the current hedonistic times we live in, where pleasure is sought after over everything else.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88
So a few thousand years in one part of the world because of a religion vs possibly a million before, including in the old testament and in many other cultures and nations throughout the world?
Also are you pretending marriage during many of those years was about love at all and not merely property?
The Romans didn't exactly marry for love, neither did the greeks, neither did people in the middle ages. Many were in relationships with multiple people, had multiple wives, concubines, lovers, etc. If you think history is on your side, you really haven't thought this through.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88
Also "monogamous relationships were actively advocated for" therefore they are always healthy and viable? That's some silly reasoning. I would wager most of human history has had one man and many wives. But I don't take that history to mean it's better or that it's the way it should be because the past had little to do with what we decide to do now in the present with our free will and more modern understanding.
@@IcyPhilosopher
Not even a few thousand, depending on when you believe the Western world's creation was.
The son is going to fall for the girlfriend too 🤣
He fell for the hotter one in the relationship?
Shocker.
oooookkkkk hold on. if the bowl is FULL of ONLY red m&m's , I'd be curious about the green one too tbh😂😂😂😂
I feel like polyamory can work, but only when it’s prediscussed when they first get together. Like that’s something to talk about on the first date.
that's exactly what it is. it's all communication from that point and if it needs to be closed off, that needs to be discussed too. I've been there, I'm in that, my partner let me go seeking again after 4 years lol
Absolutely. You can't just throw in a person as excuse because you cheated. They're all happy so it's fine but what the wife did was wrong. You gotta communicate the possibility of adding someone before actually doing it.
@@FiberglassUnicorn Of course you're going to an advocate for this when it's allowing you to keep your long term partner and still get to "go out seeking".
@@jesussaves6625because I'm polyamorous who shut down that side of me for my partner that I've lived with for 4 years? lol....commucation is a 2 way street, she knew i was poly before we dated but made a way to date was to drop it for them. Polyamory isnt some "push and play" thing. you have to find similar people and if not, you just make friends in the end lol
@@jesussaves6625 Simply the truth. It's just an excuse to cheat with more steps in the end. You can't legitimately split your love for someone like that. Also anybody reading this don't give me that crap about, what about your children? That's a different kind of love then you have for your partner. Two partner relationships are normal and should remain that way. Justifying three or more partners is just perversion playing and simple.
Ah thanks. Love u too, no better way to end my work day than a few of these videos on the bus ride home 🔥🔥🔥

Agreed. Hopefully the kid will grow up normal and not follow his folks unnatural steps.
@@spades77
I can only really see it going one of two ways.
1: the kid grows up resenting his parents and thinking their immoral.
2: the parents completely indoctrinate him and make him follow in their footsteps, or complexity corrupt any sense of normal relationship behavior he otherwise would've developed later in life.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88 3. The kid gets a little older and steals his parents girlfriend. Sadly I have seen that actually happen to my buddy's uncle. Was hilarious.

Today actually is my birthday! Thanks, Ken!! 😁

Yeah exactly!! My last gf asked how I'd feel if her girl-friend came over and I said it was cool, then she told me what they usually do, and was super surprised when I was cool with it. I said "if you can keep it as a strictly physical relationship, I'm fine with you two being together" and it was great. Though I think you REALLY need to be open with your partner, and both of you always need to be reviewing your own feelings constantly. It worked for us but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who can't handle crazy stress and aren't really emotionally mature.
Are you okay with her being with other men tho? I ask since men go crazy over lesbianism but God forbid if the girl wants to be with another man.
@Future Pants Well I'd recommend Ketamine for that. That will separate you straight from reality and pass you around the 6 others. But it's not cuckoldry in my definition of the word, nor most people's I don't think. And that's pretty rude of you to assume and judge. You don't know me, or either of them, you don't know the details of our sexual relationship, so why do you feel comfortable commenting on it??
My bf and I are in something similar. The girl I’m seeing says I ask about her feelings a lot and I’m like “girl I am trying to make sure nobody is getting hurt” 😅 the bf and her get along and we get along so as of 5-6 months in we’re all chilling. Hope the best for you guys too
Me and my husband do similar.
Like I've said in another comment about this, where people say it will never work, it can work, if the people doing it are open and honest with each other and aren't liars, or gaslighters. You can be jealous, hell, I think jealousy is an important part in finding your boundaries, as long as you communicate them. Like, I said in another comment, I couldn't see my girl with another guy, it's a territorial thing for me, but I only know that cause I was introspective with myself, and it only didn't happen cause I communicated that to her, and she was willing to accept that part of me.
