Hi Chris, we are so lucky that some of our industrial heritage still survives in one form or another so we can pass down the stories to our children. It was a really tough life being a miner back in the day with long shifts and poor pay, thank you to all the miners that went into mining these amazing places. History really is a window to the past that we are able to look through and gain some understanding of what life was like before our time. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
chris ya bring back so meny chilhood memorys for me in all the places i us to play in all them quarrys and mines meny moons ago thankyou so much for all the time you put in to show these places
Rhosydd is an awesome mine, I've been a few times about 15 years ago and loved it. Never been to Croesor but having seen this would love to if health improves. Keep up the good work. Congrats on 200th.God bless
Rhosydd is one of my favourite mines, especially now I've found way past the great fall in Eastern workings, so able to access parts of the mibe hardly anyone knows about. Full of artifacts, and tunnels of only hobnail boot prints. I'll have to go back soon to make proper video, but it can get unnerving there. 5 Chambers without a single pillar, and walking on slabs fallen from ceiling, but it's worth it to see what's there.
@@shonkytours2039 5 Chambers no pillars has got yo be close to 360 unsupported, wow. Take care in there but I would love to see more from beyond the great fall. God bless
@@darreno9874 I forgot, I took one of my friends there Antonio a couple of months ago. He's recorded a video for his channel ua-cam.com/video/N2Kh8b7TKPc/v-deo.html
Thanks Ray, I had 40 subscribers for a year, then recently got to 100, a week later I got to 200👍. Gives me more enthusiasm to make more videos. Although I just make them for the love of it, the more who enjoy and watch makes me want to produce better videos for everyone 😊
I've abseiled down it, but it wouldn't be much of a video only the top and bottom as I'd need my hands free if abseiling. Not got a go pro to stick on helmet. But I could film it next time I go to Croesor to access the higher levels

This is a fabulous journey Christopher. Not an easy one either. I think you’ve done videos on this one. Cheers to your crew.

Diolch, braidd yn "shaky footage" oherwydd methu defnyddio stabiliser I cadw video rhag ysgwyd, angen dwylo rhydd so methu recordio mor dda.
Went in Croesor about 20 years ago, never been through to Rhosydd, don't think I could do all those ropes and boats!
Using ropes is the only way I'm afraid to see all the bridges. You can go through Rhosydd up until the boat, which is one of the best mines in itself

Well done, you have passed the 200 mark in just a few weeks.

Love the video! Would you consider making a video of Croesor's 340' shaft, or do you think there's not enough for a full length video?
