18 amazing WW2 Sherman tanks in Normandy

Enjoy amazing walkaround, drone, and inside views of 18 of the most incredible WW2 Sherman tanks you can see in Normandy.
In this video we celebrate this famous vehicle which changed the war in the favour of the Allied forces with footage of some well-preserved tanks and some not so, including three vehicles which were used as target practice.
You’ll also see amazing variations including Duplex Drive swimming Shermans, a ‘Grizzly’, ‘Easy Eight’, a Sherman Dozer, and a remarkable tank recovery vehicle.
Many of the remaining vehicles stand as memorials to the British, French, American, and Canadian forces who used them during the liberation of Normandy and beyond.

Crikey, not been back since 99. Started in 82, when St Mere Eglise musee'was in a shaded, wooded site, behind a wall up beside the Church, when it was curiously sited around and within two Horsa gliders, full of equipment.
The proprietor of he 'Relics' museum at Port en Bessin was the only person granted permission to do a n y recovery from the wreckage just offshore, a situation which remains, I believe.

Uncle Tommy said Quote! My introduction to WW2. He was on a Library Ship rough sea night time. The Ship was hit knocking everyone to the floor. "All stopped"! Hatch opened tank commander and crew. Too your tank. Fired them up knocked the dog's off. Through the tanks over board lifting the ship. Middle of the night another Ship cut 7 ft off the front of the ship. The captain beached the Ship off the coast of Scotland! June 6th Tommy was with the 7th wave Normandy Beach. God I miss my uncle's RIP.

@@suzyqualcast6269Uncle Tommy was a wonderful person. He could never have children after WW2. Tommy had 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He never talked about WW2 until he was 80. Tommy said talking about it was the hardest thing he did. But he remembered it like it was yesterday!
