It's the kicks for me I'm not trying to win a race or go up against a dodgr challenger in just trying to commute y'all act like you all have a timed bomb to drive through and drive like maniacs i could've gotten a Sentra but it's too small for me the kicks is just perfect for my daily commute and go on getaways with my family plus it's more stylish
thats a great way to put it... i just prefer the sentra drive a little better
I bought a 2023 kicks and I love it! I was always a sentra fan before, but the cargo space in the back of a kicks is awesome. I'm torn between the two, to be honest, but I love my kicks. I got the white and black kicks. I'm not racing anyone, I don't care about the speed. I've gotten my kicks to 45 mpg and that's good enough for me!

I easily get to 60 in my Kicks. It’s not a race car but it's practical it does what needs to be done. Everyone is so hung up on the speed, most of us don't need all that. 😂 Go get a race car! Ha!

Sentra. Not only does it have more HP and torque, a sedan will always be more fun to drive than a crossover/SUV. Sedan usually weighs less and has a lower center of gravity which improves handling. Plus this Sentra looks very handsome!

Thanks for the video, definitely i will go with the kicks. In terms of exterior design and economy, kicks is the best option and 1.6L engine power should be enough. And my family fits perfect in the car.

Been driving a '21 Sentra SR Premium for a little longer than the lifetime of this video, going from borrowing my sister in-law's sentra every now and then it feels so much more responsive, way less lag, and even for 149 horsepower, it has some go to it if you need it to. It's no sports car, but it's fast enough to feel safe

I have a 23 sentra sv & am in love with her!! I test drove the kicks & prefer the sentra over the kicks anyway especially the styling

My fiancé and I just got a 2023 Sentra. We went back and forth between a brand new kicks versus the Sentra but the Sentra stole it for us. More comfortable and more roomy for us.. It was a great choice for us!

Hi Chris, great video with two amazing products !! If I could take for a ride these beauties of Shakira and Jennifer....I like better the Kicks...its higher and also its shorter. So if someone suffers from low back pain the Kicks may be a better option. Also customers should keep in mind the space in their garage if going for the Sentra.
I would have to choose Shakira as my choice between her and Jennifer for sure!

I went from a 2020 Rouge SV to a 2024 Kicks SV the amount I save on gas I’m loving it! I didn’t need as much space so I took a smaller ride this time! So far I’m loving it 💕

I have a Kicks. I like the look of the Kicks better. I've never had an SUV or hatchback, whatever you want to call it, and I wanted to try one for a change. I love the amount of cargo space in the Kicks. I do agree with you that the steering is a bit loose on the Kicks. That would be my only complaint. I am getting used to the steering, but I'm sure it feels more comfortable going faster in the Sentra than it does in the Kicks. (I do also wish the Kicks had an automatic lift gate.) But style-wise, I think the Kicks wins. The Kicks ride is also pleasant and comfortable at reasonable speeds, and the gas mileage is great. I was absolutely fed-up spending so much money on gas.

I like the space for hauling stuff ( like dead bodies 😂) in the Kicks, but want the power of the Sentra. Not sure at this point. Too bad Nissan didn’t put the same engine in the Kicks

Hi Christopher, It depends on what your needs are as they 're very different. I prefer cars to trucks so I'm sold on the Sentra. Although very nice. I wouldn't want to wash the rims on the Kicks.

The Sentra’s design is so mature looking- I’m not sure what happened to the Kicks. I’m waiting for the Sentra SR Turbo if they ever release one!
that was a sweet car in the 2018 model years a manual sr 2022 turbo would be spectacular
i drove an sentra and felt it was bigger than i wanted i had an 16 years old xterra i traded in for my 2021 nissan kicks Monarch Orange SR model i love mine!

I think I would prefer the Sentra because there seems to be more leg room in the back. I like the way the Sentra looks in the front too
I had a 2011 Sentra but traded it in for the 2020 Versa. I should have test drove the Kicks, but didn’t. The hatchback probably would have come in handy. I most likely should have gone for another Sentra, but I wanted go to a smaller footprint with the Versa. I like my Versa, so I am not kicking myself too hard. 😃

I am a huge Nissan fan both are great cars but my choice be the Sentra. I see a Black SV across the street from me parked outside while watching the video.

You have to update/edit the specs on the Sentra... it says (40lbs ft) even though you said 140lbs ft.

Whichever is cheaper is what I would go with. Neither are exciting. Typical people going for these priced vehicles go for value above all. With that said, Kicks S model vs the Sentra S model are nearly identically priced around me.. I would go for the Sentra.

Why didn’t they give the kicks the same engine as Sentra? It’s basically begging for it? And the loss in real world mpg would be negligible.. bs move on nissans part

Save money and buy a Nissan Versa.

@@carsunlocked I swear to God it is true, but with these cavaits of course... set the cruise control to 55 mph, and keep your foot off of the gas pedal.
If your in a hurry and can live with just 40+ mpg then set the cruise control to 60 - 65 mph and again keep your foot of the gas.
Using your cruise control smartly will easily save you 10 to 20% on gas usage in practically any car or light truck out there. I do this for fun mostly to kill time on my long ( 30 + minute ), commutes into town.
Yes the Versa is a small car, but it is peppy, comfortable, and smooth riding as well as fuel efficient.

@@carsunlocked drove the Sentra SV. The engine and the CVT drove quite nicely. Will get behind the wheel of the Kicks soon but I'd expect similar performance and quality- The Kicks could use a sunroof.
