I think 2.2 is very overwhelming for everyone, even if creators will get to do a lot more, there is so much given to us that it'll take a long to to adjust and plus, rating standards will skyrocket and unnoticed creators (like myself) will stay in the shadows of the ones on the leaderboard. Even if 2.2 has so much content, I think Rob made a mistake with the size of this update, but nonetheless I can't help being excited for it but I'm not excited for the problems it'll cause :/
Tbh. 2 player mode is actually super useful just not in normal levels. It is good because you can create things like Geometry Dash in Gd or Mastergame.
honestly this sounds cool as a custom gamemode for a level like say you had 2 cubes one on each side of the rope, the rope would be controlled by 2 player to make it go up and down, and you had to coordinate your cubes to avoid obstacles trying to hit the cubes, and if one of the cubes is hit you of course die shit now i need to make this in the editor
@@spacebar_key4207 thats actually a good idea for a gamemode, though i have no idea on how to make it control with only 1 button. maybe each click it alternates between directions

Top 100 was flooded with exploiters when the bug was discovered 15:02 "All the new level art and decorations are pretty much a must-in levels for them to get rated" *proceeds to showcase a level that doesn't use any 2.1 deco* Imo 2.2 will be similar to 2.0, people won't know how to properly use the features and gameplay will be unbearable for probably months. Decorating standards will also take some time so I suspect the early levels be pretty inconsistent in quality. And finally, 2.3 will be an enhancing update of 2.2 similarly how 2.1 enhanced 2.0 I hope that after 2.2, new update comes once a year or so. It takes so long to create good levels nowadays so I don't want to go through an entire update without releasing anything
Fair points but I just wanna say I did not care to search enough for a level that explicitly used 2.1 stuff, so I just went with a random featured level and hoped for the best I don't make levels so I don't even know what deco was added in 2.1 vs 2.0
@@thenewboeguy But Ultra Violence still has its own block design, consisting of smaller blocks and details which would be impossible to implement if only default blocks and 1.0 deco existed
the unmarked enhancement for 2.2 i think would probably be a 4.5-5 because of how much is being added so i think that would bring 2.2 to a score of 3.9 i don't know just a guess
11:37 Idea if this gamemode was real: Your cube is hanging from a pulley on the ceiling, you tap to go to the height you want to go to, its ease in-out movement type, going at a top speed of 2.5 blocks a second vertically.
