Re-enactment of Siege of Derry at Maiden City Festival 2012

Re-enactment of the Siege of Derry taken from true accounts at the time is performed as part of the Maiden City Festival in Londonderry. It highlights the resilience of the Protestant to face bombardment, starvation, and decease rather than surrender their faith. Thousands died in the 108 day siege until the city was relieved by Williamite forces the Watch word No Surrender is still relevant today.
