I’ve never touched one. Remember when they came out. The ads ran on ch 56 or 38 I think. I don’t know. Could have been ch 8. I wonder if I can remember the original 12 ch cable line up we had in NH in the 70s. 2 was WGBH, Boston, 3 was 38 from Boston, 4 I think was NBC from somewhere. I don’t remember 5. 6 was NBC in Portland, ME, 7 was CBS, I think, 8 was from top of Mt. Washington and Poland Springs. 9 was pbs. out of Manchester, I think 11 might also have been pbs. 13 was out of Portland. No idea what 12 was.
You know i laugh at this but my mum still has her original Ginsu knife from the late 70’s and that sucker is still sharp.
Still under warranty. 😂
Until at least 2028.
Those 50 years are almost up!
44 years are gone. 6 year warranty is still on. 😁
The first ten seconds of this commercial are the basis of my life's philosophy.
Wonder if anyone's planning on cashing in on that 50 year guarantee?
when he said how much would you pay for this I was thinking $600 would be a good deal
One of the best knives I've ever owned.
They still make Ginsu's. I saw a set on Amazon for sale. I think I want that set.
Thank you for posting this.
Only 5 years left on that warranty...
😊😀😊 Still Have My Original Ginsu’s I Paid 9.95 😊👍🏼
Me too!
Still can bring us some money back until 2028.
The $9.95 offer is still good, right?
Well, it's been 41 years. Has anyone reported this knife not living up to it's claims?
Nope!
The original ones no. Later versions “Ginsu 2000” were total crap though.
Warranty is almost up for these. How they doing?

The years that have passed
That is not a tin can. It's aluminum and it didn't cut it easily.
So hire a lawyer and sue their asses.
