Rode it last week. Its a pretty short ride but a neat one. I could very much see how this layout could be a good one to clone for smaller parks. A good first upside down coaster too ngl.
Love that theming, "boosting now! -swoosh swoosh- welcome to the capitol!" whichever genius landed on "Make it fancy right at the end" needs to be fired
The only thing worse than a Mack rides launch is a Mack rides swing launch. I think I could probably get a fast acceleration running than the first launch.
The theming is insane! I love that they included all of the districts and had the screens of all the competitors. Very well done! Disney should take notes.
You know people always hate on Mack's launches for not being powerful enough, but we're enthusiasts and, of course, we always want the most powerful launches and craziest elements, naturally. That being said, the GP doesn't really think about that kind of thing and if it's a coaster like this or Copperhead Strike, that is based on hangtime and not airtime, then it's perfectly fine and we should appreciate these type of coasters for what they are and not what they...aren't.? 🤔 Nice POV. Didn't even know there was a Hunger Games themed coaster over there.
I can't see these swing launches anymore. They have been trending since 7 or 8 years and nearly every new ride has a swing launch. Rather have one intense one.
@flavio12345678912312 Me too. I prefer just one launch, but some coasters need it like Pantheon bc if Pantheon didn't have a swing launch, then it would be extremely short.
I feel like Hunger Games ought to imply a bit more on ride theming. I'm not saying it needs to Disney or Universal level theming but one would expect something. I mean this would be if some lazy park themed a coaster to Superman but just painted the track red without any other effort. I mean, unimaginable laziness, right?
Don't know how I feel about them glorifying The Capitol as the land seems to do. Looks like a good ride though, even if a bit short. The transfer track reminds me of the unique moment on Powder Keg and that loop is huge!
@@drdewott9154 The Capitol was forcing children into a knock off battle royale for 74 years at that point. The Hunger Games isn't like the worlds of comic books that you fantacise about living in, it's a tragedy. I'm not saying this is what they're doing but I am using it for the sake of an extreme example: would you make a theme park around Schindler's List or Titanic? Just because the answer is a resounding no doesn't mean the movies are bad, in fact they're better than most comic book movies. The difference is you want to live in the world of comic book movies. While the Twilight series is terrible I think it's more adaptable to a theme park because you're talking about aworld full of powers people wish they had, not a tragedy that makes a good movie but feels iffy as a themed land, especially when you're the bad guys. At most, Hunger Games should get a lazer tag type attraction where you're competing in the games.
@@urbex_coasters You act like I'm not aware of this? The Capitol propaganda is a vital piece of theming for the land. The other ride there, a flying theatre, literally involves the rebellion stopping and hijacking a Capitol tourist flight.
@@urbex_coasters Well I have seen the movie so I obviously know that the Capitol and Panem elite/government are the bad guys, but this is also pretty fundemental for the whole franchise. Most people already know of the Hunger Games, its a huge franchise.
Definitely a nice idea to coincide with the original hunger games trilogy, but definitely could use a theming overhaul since the new movie recently came out at the end of 2023.
Oh look, another under 2000ft track, 30 second ride coaster. YAWN. Gone are the days of the 4 to 5000 ft track coasters built for a great ride. Now the focus is on launches and height. Boring.

I can 100% see this being popular like the sky rocket one!
with that launch they should be sued for calling it bullet train 😂
Looks like Copperhead Strike if it was 1/3 the length.
That’s what I was thinking too

Well that was a lot shorter than I thought it was going to be, good family ride though by the looks of it
How have i never seen this before this ride looks awesome
I think it's funny how you can hear Sarah in the background giggling.
The theming is insane! I love that they included all of the districts and had the screens of all the competitors. Very well done! Disney should take notes.
Reminds me a lot of copperhead strike. Which do you think is better?
If only the launch was stronger... It would pack a punch
The day we see a punchy mack launch will be a day for the ages
@@coastertron
It already exists -> Ride to Happiness
True
Voltrons first Launch will be punchy @@coastertron
A park for only the few not the many
Geez, you can almost hear the rattle hahah
I am interested to hear the review of this.

I saw how small the launch track is and how big the loop is and I thought "Will this launch actually be punchy" Then it was swing launch 😒

my exact thoughts 😭😭😭
@@chalkcoasters and THAT'S the problem! They save on the actual ride length and just put in another swinglaunch
So weird how they have those themed buildings next to the brake run. Like is there even a path there?
I’m too exited for the vlogs
Exited?
Best brake rub ever
Nudge coaster? Launch is a bit of a stretch :)
Capital Bullet Train went full PowderKeg on its beginning LOL
Looks fun although not better than copperhead strike
yeah maybe because copperhead strike literally has a two times longer track length and area so it can pack in more elements
Other than the one pop of air after the loop? The rest looks pretty forceless.
How good is John Wick: Open Contract compared to others S&S 4D Free Spin ?
It unfortunately was closed during our visit
Niceeeeeeeee
hi can you do the mad pursuit pls?
We will have a full pov of it up soon
Why the train sounds like it gonna fall apart??????
Dubai builds 'em tall, fast, and cheap.
Mack product

The station and queue are pretty well themed- you just can’t see it in this video
So short
Wow. Lol

I mean the land seems to be based on the Capitol as it is before its overturned. Like its place in time is seemingly just after the first movie.

I feel like the color scheme isn’t the best, but it looks like a fun ride!
That was a "no worries if not" launch
That coaster looks like it will soon collapse
Sounds like it for sure
Yeah and Macks usually are kinda silent.
Bet it won’t
How
It only looks worn because of dubais intense heat
Should have just had a straight launch and it would be 5x better.
they should’ve just done one launch it looks like you don’t even feel that
Was that English?
I can hear the worn wheels and track segments. Motiongate, do better.
What is the point of a swing launch here? Just makes the ride worse.

A bike is faster than that launch
uhh
That thing needs a better paint job 🙃
Why do macs have such sucky launches.

Because steel is super expensive. Orion literally cost the same as Fury 325 and it has 1,300 less feet of track

@starryagent9936 Capitol Bullet Train was built in 2017. I'm not sure how UAE's economy was, but America's was alot better back then
Yawn.
