Hi! Thanks for asking. The trees I used were bent down by wind or heavy snow and were slowly dying. I use dead trees also where possible, at the current campsite they were hard to find due the snow. For fire I use only dead trees for obvious reasons :)
I'm from Estonia. Yes, there are some wild forest here, some of it are nature reserves, some of it will be cut down at some point. For my camping videos I use the last one.
